    Not sure if this should go here or in the food threads. It's for the SB, so here it goes. A friend gave me a recipe for venison jalapeno popper. It calls for tenderloin, but the Mrs said no way abusing tenderloin like that, so I used steaks. Cut the deer, cut bacon strips in half. Add a little cream cheese, jalapeno and a bit of onion. Roll and marinade in Itilian dressing for a couple of hours, grill until bacon is done. I had more deer than bacon, so I put that in some Stubb's and will grill that too.

    Real quick sausage dip for your Superbowl munchies. If you don't know here ya go.
    1. 2 boxes of Philadelphia (Philly Philly)Cream Cheese
    2. 2 Rolls of Jimmy Dean sausage hot/ mild, regular / sage. No pork for you, substitute with Turkey .
    3. 1or 2 cans of Rotelle , regular mild , or hot. Your choice.
    4. Tostitos Scoops / Frito Lay scoops

    Brown meat in pan till cooked through. Chop meat till it's small crumbles.
    While that's in the pan, put your cream cheese and Rotelle in a crock pot on high melting it down. Drain meat and transfer to crock pot. Continually stir till you get dip consistency. Takes 20-30 minutes and your eating. I know this is cutting close, but do it. :hungry:

    Apparently cream cheese is a very popular item today. I went to the Harris Teeter an only saw fat free,and a bunch of empty shelves. Only two that weren't fat free, organic and .75 more. A guy gets to them before I do,but only takes 1. So I at least got 1.
