I won't won't complain since the Chiefs signed him in FA from the Packers which then kind of paid off for the Pack the previous week . Except for that make-up no PI call, which I admit was B.S.

 

I was 11th place in fantasy league. I traded off Kenneth Walker, Barkley, Chase and some others for draft picks as I considered my season over.

Both were hard to watch last night. Jordan Love seemed to be off a bit on every pass after looking pretty good for three games. He's young so it's to be expected...somewhat. The Refs totally suck this year too.

I like how everyone bandwagon blames the refs for their teams crappiness. Listen, refs are human, thus they make mistakes on the regular. They aren’t any more crappy this year than previous years. My team might be the worst in football this year and it has nothing to do with the refs.

Actually, and I’m sure to eat these words later, but watching them completely mess up calls this year is hilarious to me.

Although that might be because the chiefs are taking the brunt of it. I dunno.

At any rate can someone ban Taylor swift from football?

 

The Giants defense came to play. Those sweeps/reverses weren't working the latter half of the game, and the offense also looked like it regressed back to week 3 or 4 (generic scheme/template again?). But my biggest complaint was special teams (yet again), penalties (yet again), and Nixon. That missed FG, the hit on the punt, and then Nixon playing too aggressive and then getting burned yet again on a key play. I feel like just one of those not happening and/or one less penalty it's a different game. But I get it, they're still a young team on offense, but damn that was still hard to watch considering how well they played the last 4 games (especially against that KC defense) and then playing like crap against a 4-8 team.

I only wish I could be 100% wrong and none of that happened. Sigh...

 

So my son was hysterical today because he thinks the pats are going to fire bill bellichick.

just for fun, what’s your take on it? He’s been with the pats for 24 years. In those years he went to 9 super bowls, winning 6 of them. Would you, as Robert Kraft put ol’ Bill out to pasture, or let him take a probable second overall pick QB and see what that qb looks like?

 

He's chasing Shula's win record. I'd strip him of his GM duties and leave him as coach. He hasn't exactly put together the best development team around him and his draft picks the last 4 years have been subpar. If he won't agree to that, he has to go and they need to start a new era.

 

I was thinking strip the GM duties as clearly his picks have been not great. Then get his kid out of there. Bring back Josh McDaniels, and see if he could take that demotion. I wouldn’t dump him I don’t think. Maybe I’m just nostalgic I dunno… it seems like he can still put together a pretty good defense.

 

Oh he can still coach, he just can't evaluate offensive talent. But if you strip his GM duties, I think he walks. I don't think I'd personally ever fire him as a coach. It's the reason he left the jets, he wants control of personnel while coaching and didn't want to continue to be under Parcell's thumb. He got Total control as a patriot, it's the only reason he came to New England.
