I had Jones rated as the best NFL ready QB available, Pat's got a steal.

Surprised he didn't go to SF honestly. Glad he dropped to the Pats and they didn't have to trade up to get him.

The jet's are a dumpster fire. They need a whole facility overhaul. They have talent there, just don't know how to manage it and put it all together.

I'll take it. Everyone said the same thing about Brady and being in Belichicks "system QB"

Pats can't stop the run for crap though. Secondary looks great. But if we face a good rushing team it will be tough to stop them.

No comments on the game last night? I didn't watch the game, so I went online today to read about it and look at the box score. Three attempted passes, lowest I've ever seen before. All the pundits are saying it's because they didn't trust Jones, and that may be part of it. But from a coaches perspective, if they can't stop the run then don't stop running. Pretty amazing performance if you think about it, the Bills knew what was coming and still couldn't stop it.

In my opinion it had nothing to do with trusting Jones. It was strictly a game plan in the weather. I mean, they didn't even try for a p.a.t. after their touch down. The wind was so bad buffalo missed a field goal late in the game. Passes from Allen we're moving all over the places and tough to catch. There was no accuracy with the ball in the air. Belichick basically ran the ball all day long. The pats ran on 2nd and 17 and again on 3rd and 13. They even ran a QB sneak on 3rd and 5, then did it again the very next play on 4th and 1. It wasn't pretty. First 2 punts by the pats were total garbage, one being for 13 yards. Wind was terrible. But Buffalo couldn't really stop the run either. They stopped some drives, but they knew the pats were running and had 9/10 guys in the box and still couldn't stop them until they started shooting the gaps in the 4th quarter. And that's when the pats dialed up 2 pass plays. Then back to the run game.

I thought it was the best game of the year. If Harry doesn't touch that punt, it would not have even been close. Dude never field punts at all this year...it was a head scratcher why he was back here. Maybe he was told to just be around Gunner incase he muffed one in the conditions. Might have been better to not have anybody back there.

Definitely a head scratcher for sure. Also the phantom personal foul for hitting Allen jumping trying to get the first down. He was pushed to stop forward progress to prevent a first down. Dude was in the air and hadn't gone out of bounds yet. The only reason they got into field goal range that drive.

Yeah, I don't know what game the pundits watched. jewsNbrews pretty much nailed it. I tuned in right when the Pats scored the first TD, and I was scratching my head why the went for 2 when it was 6-0. Then when I heard there was bad weather/winds, it was evident why.

Watching the kicks and Allen's passes move/sail vs Bellichick almost completely avoiding the pass just shows how great a strategist he is. Of course if it had gone the other way, it'd probably be a different conversation lol.

Bills get the Bucs next. If they lose that one too, then it'll be consecutive losses to Bellichick and Brady. Nothing against the Bills, but I'd hate to be a fan if that happens.

And then pats again. Could be a spiral out of control. Miami could end up in second place in AFC east and shot at the 7th seed.

People who say that truly don't know though. The fact that he went 7-9 with Cam was amazing. I don't think anyone else could have gotten 4 wins last season with the Patriots roster. It took him one year to reload and be a contender again. Maybe both Brady and Belichick are great. And the fact that they were together is why they have as many championships as they do.

Agreed. But, I’m happy to see Belichick back to doing his thing. The best coach to do it IMO.
