    What’s with all the “Sea Chicken” talk? Is someone still butt-hurt about a certain Packers NFC championship game?

    After the titans beat the pats at home I put down $40 at 25/1 for them to win the super bowl. After beating the ravens last weekend I’m waaaaay more sure I got a good chance at winning $1000 lol

    The only way I see KC stopping him is
    A. Mahomes keeps possession with long drive so he's off the field or
    B. Mahomes lights it up early and gets a big lead forcing the Titans to pass

    Either way it's Henry v Mahomes.

    Tannehill is a great passer with several sticky fingered receivers. He can also run it. Henry will hammer home first downs all night. Tennessee's defense is the key and whether or not they can keep the pressure on Mahomes. The secondary will have their hands full on both sides.

    Not saying this as a Chiefs fan, but just a little dose of reality here: it is EXTRAORDINARILY difficult to go on the road 4 weeks in a row and win against playoff teams. In 50 years, only 10 wild card teams have advanced to the Superbowl. Not easy.

    Again:

    • Henry can get 180 yards and Titans still lose
    • Chiefs defense is better
    • Tannehill is no Mahomes. Mahomes was #2 in the league against the blitz [Lamar Jackson was #1]: Tannehill was HORRIBLE against the blitz. IF CHIEFS GET A LEAD OF MORE THAN ONE TOUCHDOWN ...
    • The premier weaknesses of Titan's defense [pass defense] is the primary strength of the Chiefs. Everybody wants to talk about the Titans advantage in the run game, but no one [here] is talking about the Chiefs advantage in the passing game.
    • Chiefs have a home field advantage, which, as much as people want to deny it, is an advantage. Not huge in a single game, but an advantage, none-the-less.

    Back to being a Chiefs fan: my prediction is Chiefs win by ... 21 points.

    Chiefs are favorites for sure. But no one is sleeping on Tennessee after the last two games. No one wants to face a hot team in post season play. Ask the pats about the giants teams. Any given sunday in a one game season.

    What is the point of sports? Is it not to languish sanguinely [as do so many fans of bad teams who yet still believe that this year it will be different, e.g. Cincinnati or Cleveland]?

    The Chiefs are good. We've got a great quarterback and great over-all, team chemistry.

    If not this year, when? If not now, how long will we yet repose on the littered flowers of our dreams?
