It would appear the answer to that question is “enough for a first down”

Unfortunately. The NFL needs to fine refs for bad calls. They need to be held accountable for their mistakes. I mean they dont care to get better. They have too big of egos to care. I mean they have all the leverage, anyone remember the replacement refs? :puke:
And why are they all 40+ years old. We need new and younger refs that are held accountable for their actions/calls. Wont happen, but one could hope.

What a weekend...especially for my Chiefs brothers and sisters!!! Whoo Hooo. That was the wildest thing I have ever witnessed on a NFL field. All the ghosts from seasons past were there early yesterday.....but #15 wasn't about to let that $%^ happen and proceeded to put on a clinic on how to play QB in the NFL. We have a huge challenge coming into Arrowhead next week with a grown ass man running the ball straight down our throats. It will be a dogfight but I like our chances. I have said it before and I'll say it again...win or not I am enjoying this ride and flippin geeked that Mahomes is our QB for, what will be, the next decade plus hopefully. Go CHIEFS!!!!!!

I never wish for injuries. Hope he has a healthy career. Same goes for Wilson, Watson, Garoppolo, and Jackson. They are just so much fun to watch and the future of the NFL as Brady, Rogers, Roethlisberger, Manning, and Rivers are on their way out.

The yellow line on the boob tube is and always has been "unofficial". And in this case, the yellow line wasn’t even close. ie= see "official" actual side marker where red line is.........not rocket science......

Patrick Mahomes is the only QB in NFL Playoff history to do this:

    • 300+ pass yards
    • 5+ passing TDs
    • 50+ rushing yards
The important thing to note in that stat line is the PLUSES.

Good luck. Heard some interesting statistics on the Chiefs record against the Titans. The Titans are 4-0 in the last 4 meetings and Andy Reid is a lifetime 1-10 against the Titans. That means he lost to Jeff Fisher a couple times. lol Love to watch Mahomes, but this might not go the way everyone thinks it is going to go for the favored Chiefs.

No doubt we have crapped the bed against the Titans in the past. I saw the wildcard loss in person at Arrowhead a couple years ago and it was ugly to say the least. I don't think anyone in KC is sleeping on the Titans....especially with them beating us earlier this year. You don't get to the AFC championship by luck alone. The Titans are legit! If we can keep them to under 120'ish rushing yards I like our chances though.

No guarantees as I have seen us toss it away in every imaginable way possible...hell I think we even invented a couple new ways to choke in the past. But that was BM...before Mahomes (and we got rid of Dee Ford lol). The kid is a winner and I like our chances against anyone as long as he is under center. Going to be about 20 degrees around kickoff here in KC this Sunday...and you know what they say...revenge is a dish best served cold.

I don't know anyone here who expects the Titans to go down easy. Going into the playoffs, they were the team I thought the Chiefs would have the hardest time solving, so I for one am not thrilled they are coming to town. As you said, they have had the Chiefs' number in recent years. Mahomes can carry the team for sure, but if Henry keeps him on the sidelines for 40 minutes, it will probably be ugly for KC.

Fair enough, that could be said about any football game and opponent, I suppose ...

So, if the Texans hadn't faked the punt, the Chiefs may not have scored as quickly--and the same could be said for the Texans' fumble on the kickoff return. [I mean, the Texans didn't seem to be able to stop the Chiefs.]

The Texans scored one touchdown in the 2nd half, after the Chiefs went into a soft, prevent defense [since they were already up 20 points, had the game won, and it was simply a 'manage the clock' situation]. Also, the Chiefs didn't need to score again at the end of the game: their enemy was the clock, not the scoreboard, so their offense was in 'run out the clock' mode.

That said, in every playoff scenario in the history of the league, no QB has ever had 300+ passing yards, 5 passing TDs, and 50+ rushing yards, E-V-E-R.

My point: anyone who loses can always make that argument. Maybe, it's correct. But, if so, it applies in every game to every winner, not just the Chiefs.:monocle:

    This guy gets it ...

Yet, the Titans don't want to see the Chiefs passing game either, as both their zone and man-to-man pass defenses rank toward the bottom of the league. Plus, remember, their earlier game this year was the first game back for Mahomes after his dislocated kneecap injury, and the consequently, the Chiefs called plays that got the ball out of Mahome's hands more quickly, so Mahomes wouldn't have to run around and wouldn't even possibly get hit. That's not going to happen this time.

Stats don't get a Super Bowl ring. Winning the Super Bowl does...

Why you hatin' on Mahomes, @Black Wolf?

    He's a class act.

    I'm starting to think you're not a Chiefs fan:monocle:

Not hatin' at all. Stats are great for fantasy football and football cards..... It's great you are a KC fan. Sea Chicken fans are quiet. My Packers might lose again to the Niner's, and the Niners excel at most positions...except Rodgers and some other go to players that the Sea Chickens didn't have a answer for.....
