Hey everyone!!! Well i finally got my first Tundra!!!! Its a 2012 Platinum CrewMax! Im so excited to have this wonderful vehicle finally! The first steps is to delete the chrome off of it... Then im hoping to actually start some mods! Probably wont be as nice as alot of yours but its a start and i cant wait :) Selling the Subaru sti on Thursday and then its on to fun stuff! I hope you are all willing to answer questions cause im sure in a few months i will have alot to ask! Glad to be apart of this family and hope to hear from more of you soon!

So first thing first. It has 71000 miles on it, but its a toyota so i really dont mind that. I guess from what the dealer said is that a home nurse owned it so its not in the best shape but ive seen worse. The absolute worst part about this vehicle is the smoke smell.... I hate cigarettes but i guess when your job is that stressful I will give her the benefit of the doubt. The second bad part about the truck is the back seats leather is a little scuffed up. Not that it really matters because i wont be back there much but its still upsetting. Besides that though she runs great and has plenty of power. Not as much as the subie but i had 10k in that engine so i dont expect it to be like that! The gps is a little weird to get used to, and the controls themselves are also weird haha. BUT im sure with time itll be fine!

So im trying to fix that smoke smell hence why it looks like SCARFACE has been in there. But i think besides that she looks amazing and i cant wait to start modding!

Take it to a detail shop and see if they can help on the smoke smell.

Get some leather conditioning and condition the seats so they don't dry up like snake skin ;)

    That'll help you a bit!

Took me about an hour to vacuum, clean, and condition my seats. Be sure to do it every 3 months (although I have Safetex (?) seats but yours are more leather) so stay on top of it.

Congrats man! My Tundra was the exact same story, former owner was a nurse who smoked. My dealership ran some thing they called an oxidizer in it overnight and it got 99% of the smell out.
