If you got the drink card, you're golden. We've been on three, all organized by a Philly cop with 120+ people. We were the token Virginians.

Even with the drink card and the option to tip at the end, take a few 10's and when you find a good bartender give them a $10 dollar tip every now and then, even for just two drinks. That will get you head of the line privileges, just make sure you know where they will be working for the week. Don't ever use your drink card to buy drinks for someone else without one. Some of the younger guys did that on one trip and got us banned from the cruise line.

Plan and plan some more. Some excursions are worth it because you wouldn't be able to easily arrange them yourself. Some sights you can get to on your own. For snorkeling, we brought our own gear and mostly went on our own. In Mexico we did the Tulum ruins with a group, awesome and we wouldn't have been able to get there ourselves.

Every one we went on had one sea day, no port call. Bring some games or a book if you're into that. Otherwise the drink card works just fine too. Be prepared for an early night though.

Be sure to check out the shows. They're all professional quality even if it's not your style. We saw the blue man group on one cruise, great show.

I can't remember all of the ports we went to, but almost all had something appealing. Have fun and post pics.

I almost forgot, they leave towel animals on your bed every night.

Congrats Adam!!! Hope you have a blast! 7 couples is a LOT lol!
So my advice, don’t try to sneak on booze from outside stops. You’ll most likely get caught (or I’m just an idiot, which very well could be the case).
And if you decide to shag-up in the hot-tub that’s roped off on the front of the ship after hours, just know someone IS watching you.
They’ll let you handle your business, but once you’ve finished the task they’ll most likely let you relax for 10-15 min and then boot you out. (Norwegian through Alaska was very nice about it)
It’s worth it. (Warn the misses AFTER, not before) I reassured the wife when we climbed over the rope signs they would never know. (This is where the margaritas/mai-tais come in prior)
    Prepare for it

Oh - and no worry of sea-legs. Those Fing ships are so big you really don’t notice shit.
It’s nothing like a 40-50ft ocean charter fishing boat!

PS - They aren’t really my thing - I’m not much on being confined. So at each stop we ventured out and did as much hiking/active shit we could. Then drank it up on the ship!
The “all inclusive” food probably sucks. You’ll end up paying more for restaurants that aren’t included in the plan.
    Bring extra cash
On the “game/party” nights that they have in the ball rooms - I’d try to attend and don’t have high expectations- just party it up and let loose!

If you have any last minute questions let me know. I worked on a cruise ship for 2 years. If not have a great time and be open minded and enjoy. You're stuck on the ship for 7 days whether you want it or not so don't go with a negative attitude and you'll be fine .
