Yeah I’m gonna agree with Bestgen, you should be jumping on the Rams wagon right about now.

Too damn long. Been 30 years.
How long was Boston's drought? 86 years or so..? They beat us the first time we played them in the WS. Time to get our revenge! Even if it's 102 years later!

@BestGen, I support the Rams. I’ll always rep the LA teams, even the Clippers or Angles as long as it’s not against the Lakers and dodgers. I just feel bad for the chargers “fat girls need love too Craig” LOL

I'm ambivalent about all the bandwagon jumpers... on one hand, they're new fans, which is good for the franchise. On the other, it's where the fk were you for the two decades they were gone.

I don't hate the Chargers. They just don't belong here. They should be in SD. Their fans don't deserve all this bs. Hell I rooted for them back when I lived there.

That’s true! SD folks loved the chargers, they should have never taken that away. They should also move the clippers back to SD too :anonymous:

Im down to support the chargers cus those tickets are going to be dirt cheap

Edit: I’m assuming those Ram tickets are high like laker games lol

Of course that and the punch to Paul were definitely uncalled for, childish and not his style or demeanor. Wonder how much Rondo and Stephenson are rubbing off on their younger impressionable teammates. Ingram was going to get the harshest punishment until the footage of Rondo spitting on Paul, now he’s fucked.

I saw it live and started laughing. I've been saying for years that the NBA is scripted almost as much as the WWE.

I can't say I think its scripted but I think often fixed for the purpose to make more money for the league. I have stopped watching and following, I just can not stand the lack of defense, effort, and hustle. The super teams idea drives me nuts and it's just crazy that a handful of players seems to totally control the league. I used to love it when it was about the team and winning titles. Now it's all about individual accolades, money, and I just can't stand it.

I've had the opportunity to sit court side for many NBA games. there are certain players who get calls when they are not even touched. breathe on them and you'll get a whistle. other guys get smacked and there is no call. certain guys get away with walking and then others are called out on it.

and don't get me started on flopping. James Harden is going to have neck issues when he is an old man. Clippers were the worst of the worst. Lebron gets touched and he's rolling around like Randy Savage came off the top rope and dropped an elbow on him. never mind he's one of the biggest guys on the court. 20 seconds later he's running down the court like a deer and showing no side effects.

its nothing but entertainment and only the elite teams where tv markets are higher will get to advance to conference finals and beyond. tv sells advertising and that increases revenue.

Although I disagree with some of your points (e.g. explain the Knicks LOL ). My vantage point might be blurred by the nose bleed seats that I sit in with the rest of the poor folk :(. But I’ll gladly agree with your views if you’d like to take me to a game with you

The problem with the Chargers was the old piece of crap Qualcom stadium. Owner(s) didn't want to pay for a new one and the SD tax payers didn't want too either. Clippers attendance dropped to nothing. Then owner brought in D league players........move inevitable

TV doesn't do justice to seeing how good of an athlete these guys really are. they can get up and down the court like crazy. I worked for a company that handled the building's fire security where an NBA team played. got to see them during practice and afterwards along with the games. it is a circus with the vendors who show up with jewelry, clothing, women and lord knows what else going on in the back rooms. they were always very nice guys to chat briefly with.

management does make some difference. tv personalities were some of the most demanding and pain in the ass to deal with.

this was several years ago and since then we have moved and I just watch it from time to time on tv. I'd rather watch college ball any day of the week compared to the NBA. most of them are playing hard to move up to the NBA.

I’ve been to several games usually in the First section, 5-10th row. Never courtside :ballchain:but they are some crazy athletes. I respect that you enjoy the college games  I’ve been a die hard laker fan and I enjoy the NBA still. I could be bias since my team is one of those big market teams :anonymous:

I think the city is a big part of the blame. I go to certain conventions in SD every year that generate a lot of money for the city of SD and they have been asking for an upgrade to the convention center downtown, but the city refuses. So now the convention is thinking of relocating as well.
