Are you guys forgetting that Boogie is recovering from a torn Achilles? Very good chance he will never be 100% again. He won’t get minutes till Dec/Jan. He also has to adapt to much faster pace of play than he is used too. Plus Kerr will have his hands full trying to keep peace in the locker room. It could be a knockout for the league or the end of his career. He just wants to play in a playoff game for the first time in his 9 year career.

 

This is very true. But as of right now he was a perennial all star. It’s about 50/50 if he can come back from the injury. All of this is unknown. None the less, he’s an upgrade from Magee

Very true. McGee, ZaZa and Looney were just place holders. None were outstanding producers, especially in rebounding, which is what we need. If boogie is 50% of what he was, he will provide the big man presence we need on the boards.

We don’t necessarily need him as we have ample players who can handle the ball and create looks. We need rebounders.

 

GS created this dynasty from a bunch of high draft picks. It didn’t happen over night. Just wait for the 19/20 season, you’ll Lakers will be getting the same attention and ridicule.

all i know is the happiest team after all this has to be the Boston Celtics. They will be able to cakewalk to the finals while the western conference teams beat the heck out of each other.
Philly will be the only team in the east that challenges them, but they did well last year with 2 starters out for the playoffs.

If the warriors are anything like the lakers, then I’m assuming ticket prices are absurdly expenive. How about we do two Sacramento and clippers games for half the price

 

I love the NBA the way it is now. The Lakers vs Boston (James vs Irving) story is compelling. Especially in another year or so when the Lakers are fully weaponized and Boston is rolling full strength.

Golden State being the Goliath that all the David's are chasing. I've always lived in NY but have been a GS fan since the 80's. I still remember watching RUN TMC as a child. Loved those guys.

I am one that wants to see the Rockets load up and run with the Warriors. I don't think any of this is hurting the NBA.

I remember when they were $10. Now I spend over $350/per for lower level corner seats! I recall seeing tickets for game 4 against Houston, a court side was almost $18k!
