How do you like your A-pillar lights? Any hood glare?

 

Love em! They're almost too bright haha! They become extremely useful when adjusted slightly outward to roughly a 45° angle, paired with my Arc 50" bar up front. The angle eliminates most glare

When you flatten your cam tabs...it's time for some cam tab gussets. Better yet, just do this before you start wheeling and youll save a ton of money on alignments in the future! Now that I have them, as of today 3/16/19 I've only got 4 official alignments done and 2 of those were specifically for new Upper Control Arms. Also if you're local, and want a hookup on a badass fabricator, let me know in here or PM. Tommy Gort @ TommyGunFab does amazing work.

Added a Blue Seas for Aux 12V power to the bed and tied in the QuikLite Whip with the switch. The Aux 12V is powered on by my Switch-Pro, then the toggle on the Blue Seas will turn the whip on and off

 

If I had to have a Raptor it would have been this one! @sdhq_offroad full package, and they're currently building another right now. Nothing but the best products!

Unique Coatings Custom Lumilor "TRON" Tailgate

Just before T2S, I had another secret custom project in the works to separate TRON from the rest, yet again! This was a tedious project for my buddy Sebastian since his shop was still in the early stages, and it was the largest project he's done with this new Lumilor product and technology. Electro-luminescent paint! Think of the movie TRON:Legacy The paint itself lights up due to a copper base layer when hooked up to a power source. It's pretty RAD stuff but also very delicate so the project is still in the works as of today 3/19/19. I just took a break since we had so many other things going on. In the mean time here's some of the progress pics with some poser shots outside of his shop.










The sad part was, we had a few misunderstandings about what I wanted and the time frame to get the work done. It was just way too big of a project with very little time to complete.






Looking back at these 2 above pictures is the reason why I haven't given up hope! It's just a crazy project so I may buy a whole new tailgate and do this on the side with no rush. The problem was he wrapped it wrong, plus he cut out letters when we should have left the stamped Tundra logo all wrapped in black. When I returned from T2S, I pulled the wrap and off came the fresh paint he sprayed as a final layer. Also, since the leads for the 12V power were beneath the tailgate handle, there was too much pressure on them causing the leads to break when opening the tailgate resulting in burnt out lumilor... Someday it'll be perfect but thought you all could enjoy the idea!

TUNDRAS TO SEDONA - April 26-29, 2018

T2S 2018 was absolutely EPIC! By far the largest turnout and maybe even the biggest Tundra Event to date! For this trip I wanted to try something alittle different than the year prior since I packed up my RTT so many times for each run. I love the RTT, but for big events like this where we are camped in the same spot, it makes sense to have a base camp. With that said, I went to Sierra Expeditions and rented an Off the Grid Trailer!










The trailer towed beautifully and wasn't a burden at all for the Tundra! My wife absolutely loved having an enclosed cabin to sleep in, although the weather wasn't bad at all. All in all, they are on the pricey side in comparison to TT and other campers, but I have no doubt this little trailer could follow me through quite a few gnarly trails with ease and I do recommend them if you wanna keep a small footprint.


Moving forward...GO-FAST Friday Morning! As dumb as it may sound, I love getting up early (hungover or not) and taking pictures of the trucks and/or camp before our adventures for the day Our camp was secluded back in the trees so you can't tell how large of an area the new T2S camp was!

T2S 2018 Continued...

As always, GO-FAST Friday in the Cinders was awesome! I'll have to upload video when I can but you guys can always check out my Instagram page for those @st3f3ns Soon after the Cinders we went straight to Sedona to do Broken Arrow before the busy weekend. Our group got alittle bigger than planned, but it wasn't too busy on the trail and the group was full of badassery!










































Most of us in that group know there was a badass picture taken of the 4 trucks to the right, below me right here and it's being used as a few cover photos now haha....just missed it!

Saturday Morning Raffle! As usual the raffle was full of awesome prizes. I picked up a few goodies from SDHQ and won the Roadshower coupon, which I still haven't used …. I'll have to edit this post and add in a few more shots from others since I didn't get too many pictures myself. The drone shots of our lineup in the T2S camp were EPIC! Stay tuned for those

The infamous Schnebly Hill Road. I get sore just thinking of this road A few of us were brave enough to head back to camp up through Schnebly. I think Joey did it in 24min, and I was about 25-26min from the bottom to camp!
















All packed up and rolling out the next morning! Definitely our favorite event of the year and looking forward to the next one!
