    Agreed. This is probably blasphemous in this thread but sometimes the CM looks more balanced to me in photos but it definitely also looks heavier. I'd be interested in the weight difference.

    You know what would really look funny? My truck being hauled off by the repo man if I attempted a CM payment. I couldn't pass up the deal I got on my DC and I don't really need the minimal 8 inches of extra room in the back seat. I haul more gear and stuff than long legged people

    The '15 brochure doesn't have a separate category for the Pro but the curb weight shows that the DC is 155lb lighter and can tow 200lb more and 55lb more payload. That is for the SR5 model. The limited, platinum & 1794 are slightly worse, no doubt because of their additional gadgets and stuff.

    I'm not sure but here are a couple thoughts:
    For one, even though the race category was "stock", the pro that ran and won was heavily modified. So much stuff was stripped off and other stuff added that the sticker rating for curb weight, payload, and tow capacity would have zero meaning.
    Second, they run with some very high tech navigation gear and cameras. Where the back seats were could have been occupied by a lot of equipment.
    Again, this is just speculation....
