No tie rod ends needed. No alignment issues so far.

So 2 shims up front on each side give you 2 inches of lift? And the trd pro kit sold on the website only includes 1 set good for 1 inch of lift correct?

You're still able to align the truck with your OE tie rods but once the truck is in motion the amount of travel produced exceeds what they can handle. You'll notice bump steer and a bit of wheel chatter without upgrading. Our Coachbuilder steering kit provides 30% more travel in the steering and will cycle much smoother. https://www.shopcoachbuilder.com/co...ucts/coachbuilder-oe-replacement-steering-kit

For you guys running shims up front. I'm curious about ride quality.

I LOVE the stock ride of my 2020 Pro. Did you notice that adding 2 shims on the driver side( for 1" lift), and one shim (for .5 inch lift) on the passenger side effect the ride quality?

I'm definitely getting shackles for the rear. And I'm debating between one shim on the driver side to correct the lean, or 2 drivers and 1 passenger for .5 in lift.

    TIA

So, just installed my PRO KIT last weekend. 1 shim equals 1” with this kit...I do not have a lean? Don’t know what that is about? My 2020 Pro now sits perfect...about 1” higher in the back for a factory looking rake.
So I had 295s installed before the lift was put on. That is where you see/feel your ride difference. Going from basically a street tire, to a 10 ply rated AT is a big difference. IMO a much better, firmer ride. Installing the lift did not change the ride...maybe handles a percent different??? But ride quality is the same.

On the PRO's we use the same shim size on each side, this is why we designed a specific shim for the PRO's. adding the shims won't change ride quality because we're not adding any additional preload to the coil itself and would def recommend using our full Coachbuilder TRD Pro kit rather than just shims and shackles.Let me know if you'd like to go over in better detail. call anytime David 801.635.4872

So live update...the Tire Discounters that I am at does not have the 2020 software for the alignment specs yet! They cannot set it to 2019 standards because of lane control and brake assist features have changed. They will set it good to drive today, no charge...and I will be back in a couple weeks to set to Coachbuilder specs.

see I’m confused, does 1 shim per side equal 1 inch or lift or 2 per side is 1 inch? And how many shims per side does the pro kit come with??

The Pro Kit comes with one shim per side, equaling 1” of lift.
From what I understand...the Pro shims are made specifically for the Pro.
I’m sure David could clarify this better than me.

So you can add 2 more with your order to equal 2 inches of total lift...? Some clarification would be appreciated

Not sure you would want 2"s of shim lift...the pro is already "lifted" with stock suspension vs. a non-Pro....if you added 2" worth of shims you would be at some horrible strain and angles on your front diff axles and your UCA, and not to mention probably a nightmare to align.

Looking for feedback, my 2019 Pro is stock with Nitto 285/70/18s and the rear measures 5/8" higher than the front as it sits without a load. I was considering adding the CB +1 rear shackle to give it a little more lift in the rear and take advantage of the ride improvement with the poly bushings. Is that enough or go +2? Would I need the carrier bearing spacer with +1 or +2? Opinions???

Talked to David - Thanks. He said there is a mix depending on truck usage and personal preference.

After jacking it up to both heights, I thought the +1 looked better and ordered it. I don't have a load in the back all the time and if I did then +2 is the way to go. With 230 lbs (me) on the bumper it sags 1".
