Same here. Hinge bolts rusting but they said they’d send me new ones. Otherwise it’s a dream.

Just ordered the HD Cab Guard today. They said they are close to resolving hinge finish issue. Cool

This will likely be what I get to replace my bakflip... Think you could mount cleats for putting a bicycle up there? I see on their website they have a picture with kayak racks, but no accessory options listed. Just drill through, seal, and enjoy?

Great looking addition to the Tundras!

It’s a tank. If you can get a mount for it, it would fit.

    I love mine.

Personally I love the Oneup USA hitch mounted bike racks. Easy to load, folds up, and most importantly, it is rock solid and protects my bike from damage. It is pricy, but it will last a lifetime. I have read that they will custom make replacement parts for discontinued models if needed. You can also still get full access to the bed.

I pull a camper so that's why I'm looking at putting a bike rack on this, but thanks for the idea!

No drilling. Thule clamps, Yakima Frontloaders, kayak rack (didn't unhook the hitch yet here, I don't drive with it on)

Any chance of a link to the part for the attachment from the DB cleat to the bar? I looked around for the clamps on the Thule site - but I had no luck.

Thanks in advance - this is probably a very similar setup after the new year (told myself I wouldn't make any major purchases for the truck until the new year... we'll see if that holds.)

That's a cool setup. But don't you have to take the Frontloaders off to open the cover?

I hated my BakFlip Mx4. Sold it on Craigslist for almost what I bought it. Bought a Diamondback HD - best decision I have made on the truck.

I keep a few Festool sanders/vac/assorted sandpaper in bed. I searched high n low on internet. Couldn’t find someone breaking in through DB cover. Peace of mind running around doing errands or leaving tools overnight is priceless.

Customer service is great. Cleats are strong. This rack is strong. Every time I look at cover I’m happy.

Expensive? No. Expensive to me is when you pay too much for something that under performs or I settled on.

Most other covers are high high profit. They price them from strategic consumer research and competition pricing.

DiamondBack costs what it costs. They make the best and stand behind it.

Next truck will have a DB cover

agreed 100% - well said. Considering how junky the BakFlip was and it cost $800, the DB is no brainer.
