Text Messaging with Premium Entune system

Mine has preset text responses for driving mode

 

Yep. Siri will even read the incoming texts through your speakers in this manner....and then ask if you want to reply. All "eyes free". Works a treat

 

LMFAO. that was the best. there would be SWAT teams if you did this now.

 

With the Toyota entune app downloaded on my Galaxy S5 I can receive text messages and the system automatically reads them to me through voice over the left front speaker. You cant send text's but should be able to receive.

 

Big thanks to Chucklestoy. Same problem with my 2017 Platinum as well. I also found if i hook up my iphone before i start the truck it somehow looses the messaging setup. If i unplug and restart its magically all fine. Clearly something that needs some attention from Toyota. Everything else rocks.
