We stuck to the access/ranch roads and explored the park a bit. It has some really cool rock formations and huge boulders everywhere. Definitely a rock crawlers paradise.

We did some camping with Toyota’s free tent (from their 2015 giveaway promo) and checked out all the cool rigs.

We should definitely plan an off-road event at one of these ORV parks!

I’m thinking of going to the Toyota Jamboree this year at Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area in Gilmer.

Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great event. I was watching some videos and wow, serious crawlers out there!

Definitely join us at Jambo this year. I went last year for my first time and instantly put it on my must attended yearly list!

Most of our group will be camping at 'high rollers' and urge people to sign up and volunteer some of their time while out there

If I make it out in form sure volunteeribg. Heck just for the chance to win a raffle makes it worth it. The fact TTC could win money only sweetens the pot.

Heck yeah man. I have no problem helping out for this event. They really take care of the attendees and it's a truly awesome time together with all the TX enthusiasts.

Ikr! I have semi mixed feelings about the "whichever club volunteers most will get $" - it's a really great idea and everything. I would just hate to see it turn into a big competition and club vs club ya know.

I highly doubt that would happen , but when a monetary reward enters the equation people always get a little crazy.
    Yeah. You see Nathan's videos?

Thanks! And yeah, I’ve been to several Jambos and was a trail leader and volunteer at some of them many years ago back when I was single. But it’s been awhile (maybe 10 years?) since I last went.

Anyway, I don’t remember the High Rollers campsite. Where is it at? Anyone else on here going?

Cool! It's way back there (I don't know my way around the park top well) by that little half shack wooden type deal. Best description I got at the moment :sorry:

Thanks again and no worries! I used to know my way around that place but it’s been so long I’ve forgotten. I’m sure it’s changed quite a bit, too, since I was last there. I’m guessing the front office should have maps of all the trails and campsites, or at least they used to.

Never too old to have fun! I’m in my 50’s and went from being a young fool to an old fool. Get a locker for the rear diff. With a locked rear, you can probably do most of the 1 and 2 diamond-rated trails when dry. The vehicle in front of you can always strap and pull you out of the difficult parts of any 2 diamond trail.

Hey so Im wondering if anyone can help me I’ve already tried asking other members on different threads and haven’t yet received or found an answer. So when I purchased my 2016 TSS SR5 it came with the towing connectors in back and everything. Only thing i noticed Is I don’t have an overdrive button or the tow/haul button. When i removed The panel where the button should of been i found 2 connectors. I’m wondering if one of them could be the tow/haul connector. But from what i read Some people have it and some don’t, heard they were removed for most 3rd generations. Not quite sure especially if some have them. Attached is the photo of the connectors and I’m wondering if i purchase the tow/haul switch it will work.

 Smokey did good this week, but I did manage to bugger the bolts holding my leaf springs in place. It may be time to get rid of those leafs once and for all.

As far as full size not fitting, yes and no. The access roads are fine and even some of the lighter trails, but there's plenty that even Smokey can't tackle. This even does put on an expo style run through the back roads of Mason and a newbie run that anyone can do. There's also plenty of empty passenger seats if you want the shit scared out of you on some crazy obstacles.

    That's the one. Katemcy Rocks
