The problem I have with the new "breathable" type sneakers is my feet get really cold during the winter. :(

yeah... salomon are the shiznit for my winter go-to shoe. Super comfy, waterproof & breathable. From working in the yard, under the car, on the roof or hiking with the dog or going for a beer, they do it all.

My summer shoe - flip flops - for everything.

Yes they are the shiznit. I can rock these all year round.

One of the only hikers I can wear all day and have my feet still feel good after 12-16 hours. Little spendy, but worth it.

I also like whites boots or Hoffman's, but we are getting outside the thread topic.

Also another great tennis shoe is Saucony.

Olukai flip flops and a pair of their boat shoes (look like old Sperry's). Most comfortable shoe & flip flop I've warn.
In the clinic I wear a pair of New Balance 574's. In my ACU's I wear Nike boots (they feel like tennis shoes). I run in NB 860v5 's.

Winter I'm either in keen Durand polar water proof boot, muck boots, 8" LLBean boots, or a pair of Merrell Moab mid gore Tex boots depending on the temperature (or burton snowboard boots).

New Balance are the most comfortable but they don't have a lot of nice selection. Next up is Nike. They have a variety of comfortable tennis shoes.

For a long time, when it came to tennis shoes, the only things that crossed my mind were Nike, Adidas, etc. I wouldn't consider small brands worthy of my garderobe. Now, I guess I got to the stage when I compare quality, price, and comfort level. Sites like this https://www.tennisshoez.com/best-tennis-shoes-for-nurses/ that provide pros and cons and make tops are a big help. I stopped purchasing only marked shoes and products in general, and I guess that the fact that I work as a nurse and I'm always running from one place to another influenced me to put the way I feel above anything.

Well, the guy who resurrected it does go by "Necrophos", after all. But give him some slack -- he's new.

And just to add some value here, it's Asics GT-2000 for me all the time.
