This is not gonna help you, but I had a 4Runner several years ago with a roof rack and the wind noise was out of control. It was a Thule rack with a wind deflector on it. I ultimately had to remove the rack. I don’t know that there’s any way to stop the noise.

FWIW, truck looks awesome with it on.

That is not going to help me at all! :(:(

I’ll have to reach back out to the guy who made it to see what suggestion he has. I was embarrassed to have passengers in my car for a 2 hour highway drive, I could hardly speak to them when I was going 70mph.

I’m not willing to sacrifice ride comfort for a badass roof rack. If I can’t get this resolved, it’s gonna have to go.

@Erichudgins coachbuilder told me to add dynamat or rattle trap to the roof to help with sound. So if you are installing, I would suggest to go ahead and do this, because now I’m gonna have to drop it again.

Hell I don’t know, lol. I mean I know all my wind noise is definitely coming from the roof, and this is sound deafening big material... so I’ll try anything once. Ordered 25sq ft of it

I finally got the 6112/5160s installed along with some Tyger step bars so spring break has been fairly productive. The 6112/5160s ride so much better than the leveling kit I had on00BA95C8-DC23-421B-9C83-230655D91EDE.jpg

I would buy a new Tundra but unfortunately my range is 18K. I have come across an 09 CM Limited with 150k for 20k. I was going to buy a 07 DC with 105k for 15,500 but it had been sold. They forgot to update their inventory and set up an appointment with me and got back to me today that it had actually been sold.

I wish I had enough bank roll to get a TRD Pro in Voodoo Blue or even QuickSand (I love the flat dark earth look)
