Truck got some new (to me) shoes. Found these Method 308s in matte black on Craigslist. Wrapped in Toyo RT 35x12.5xR18

Had to get a little trim in the front. Nice not to complete a 3-point turn when exiting my driveway.

 

Also added seat jackers on the drivers seat. Haven’t tested them on a longer trip yet but seem to feel better. Best description I’ve read is it seems like I’m sitting “in the seat” vs “on the seat”.

 

Long shot, but moving to Idaho in a couple weeks and trying to find a topper/cap/camper shell for my '17 double cab. In west tn but don't mind driving to buy one if someone has or knows of one for sale. Dont care what color or anything haha, as long as it fits

Cleaning out garage. I have several things still new in box that I never got around to putting on my 2019. As well as a few things I took off. I now have a 22 and done need the stuff anymore. JB LT headers(NIB), Toyota OEM cats made into mid pipes for headers(NIB), sew on leather steering wheel cover (NIB), Bushwhacker OEM flares (NIB), AMP Research powered steps (used), TRD OR wheels (used), BAM exhaust, (used before new paint), Husky exact contour floor mats (like new). Anyone have a single 17" wheel to part with?
Don't care about style really as I just want to mount a spare tire on it, 285/75-17 (34"). I have a good tire already left from a prior vehicle but lacking a 17" wheel to put it on.

 

Going to be listing my old set of Fox 2.5 coilovers (non-resi, 0-2" of lift) and 2.0 rear shocks (has an attached
reservoir), and a set of Coachbuilder +3 shackles, 4 shims, and the bolts soon. If anyone local is interested, just PM me (I am about 25 minutes north of downtown Chattanooga). Not sure of the exact P/Ns (I'll get that info later when I clean them up a bit) on the coilovers or shocks, but I purchased them off of another member that had them revalved to be about 25% stiffer. I put about 12k on them and ran the c/o at around 2" of lift with two Coachbuilder shims on top, they are definitely stiffer than stock.

My wife and I are looking to move in the Summer of 2023 to East Tennessee...We can not decide on where to move though. We have narrowed it down to Chattanooga and Knoxville. We live a pretty active outdoor lifestyle. We just visited both cities and are still undecided. We like them both...

Could maybe a few East Tennessee locals throw out your "professional" opinions about which city you prefer and why? Thanks and cheers in advance!

both are wonderful cities if you are looking for outdoor access. Knox is a bit bigger than chatt and has a better / more diverse job market if that’s important to you. The other thing about Knoxville is the University of TN. Largest school in the state. Pro if you like college football.. con if you don’t want that congestion, traffic in game days, etc

my parents grew up in Chattanooga and it’s much more quaint in my opinion. Much smaller that Knoxville. You have the unique-ness of living on “mountains” in Chattanooga too (for example; signal mtn)

Both have great access into the Smokey’s and western NC.

Unsure about cost of living but I know they are both cheaper than Nashville.

Besides outdoor living, what are your other priorities? And what kind of outdoor activities?
