Okay guys sorry for the week delay, work has been hectic. I have had the truck for a week now. I have put 100 miles on it and most of that was last Saturday when I got it. I drive a company vehicle so no need to drive the 22 during the week other then a trip to store or practice. Will be driving it a good bit today. The v6 twin turbo is effing bad a$$. The motor is still breaking in but every time I drive it it puts a smile on my face when I give it gas. The turbos have some lag. Ill end up tearing into it when it warms up. I feel with a simple tune and remove the turbo silencers and maybe upgrade the turbos/wastegate would put icing on it. This year the trd sport is lowered a little bit. It handles amazingly for a stock truck. Sometimes I feel I'm in a big sedan lol

Sweet heated steering wheel. 22 steering wheel is a little thicker and I like it better then the 19 steering wheel.

So friend of mine mentioned to me about the 22 window seals in the back being too short causing water to leak in the back doors. Sure enough, that night I check and this is the amount of gap on the weather strip for both back windows. I'm wondering if it is a problem that needs to be addressed or if it is suppose to be like that. The gap is the same on passenger and driver sides. Thoughts?
Ps....no I have not contacted toyota yet

On a more positive note, There will be a lot of Tundra owners at the “Tundra Crew Tennessee Takeover” event in Pigeon Forge on April 2. A good place to sell those.

 

Where will y'all be meeting up? Seems like a good place to show off some Tundras. Although I'm sure with fuel prices still up over $4gal, alot of us may stay parked somewhere....

 

Also, on another note, I had picked up a while ago a Wolf suspension 2/3 kit. Came with front 2" spacers, rear 3" blocks, diff drop spacers, front swaybar drop spacers, etc. Just looking for a good, reputable shop in the Knox/Alcoa/Maryville area for the install. Any suggestions? I've heard RockyTop offroad may do that? ‍♂️‍♂️
Any other shops around?

The event is at the Hard Rock Cafe from 10:00 - 05:00. To include your truck requires a $40 registration. Last I heard, there were over 115 pre-registered Tundras. It will be a large event regardless of the gas price. Their Facebook page has lots of messages stating “coming no matter what”. Here’s their website for registration.

Looks like we'll be living in the Donelson area of Nashville... Or at least attempt to find a rental for a year there. Going to hope the market slows before next year.
