getting the leaf installed in a couple of weeks so I can post some after pics then.

This is how the truck currently sits on option 1 with an empty decked system. This is the most recent pic i have on my phone but the sag has gotten worse since this was taken

 

when I added decked and a rack I was sagging and had to get a custom Deaver pack. Decked is awesome though. Trucks looking good!

 

were you running RXT pack before swapping to deavers? if so, what option?

 

nope, had the Deaver u-748 I believe and had a custom hd pack built. Cost about the same as a the u-748 for the custom pack

 

got it. I am hoping option 2 or 3 will suffice for the weight once i add a topper, etc... if not, onto deavers!!

 

actually i think that pack was for the version when I had topper decked and dual swing gate bumper with spare on back, it was just a lot, I think you’ll be fine with the rxt pack, I considered it at the time

 

Thanks for the info. I’m starting to think option 2 is the way to go even if unloaded.

 

Whats the difference between the u748 and the custom pack you ordered?

 

I wouldn't hesitate to start with option 2. I tow my jon boat and 4 wheeler and feel after a few trips on option 1, I wish i had started with 2

 

another leaf is what it really came out to. It was basically a u748 hd pack. I sent them pics, weight of additions etc and they advised on what I needed

 

I would never alter safety equipment. I know that you may think that it looks cool and to manny it does but it does effect output. If someone rear ends you they can take you to court and state that you altered your tail lights and they couldn't see them. They will win. Now your insurance goes up because it ill e your fault. Of course I hope this never happens. I know this for a fact because I am a retired LEO and have witnessed this on 3 occasions. I would reconsider it. Just my 2 cents of course.

 

Did you still need help or were you just going to take it to a shop?

 

I have yet to install... A shop quoted me $125 to add it in for me which seemed reasonable and I need to take the truck in anyways.

I never got around to buying any jack stands / required tools as I havent really had time.. I would still attempt myself if timing worked out

 

Anyone in the Nashville area want to give me a hand installing my C4 Bumper? She ain't light

 

lol, it’s easier than some others I’ve put on. You putting winch or anything in? Do you have bull bar? It’s near impossible for me to get away from house with kids stuff, but if you want to come down to Franklin one day we can tackle it

 

The install video they have is great but im certain i'd give myself a hernia if i tried to lift this thing on my own...

No bull bar. no winch. just fogs and light bar!

 

I set it on my proeagle, raise and steady, slide slowly…once it’s on the bolts and brackets it hangs fine, just need help fine tuning the left/right, up down to align with grille while you tighten

 

good to know. I may come down your way if I cant find anyone a bit closer to me!

 

Well, I wasn't about to figure out some of the lighting but got it mounted for now!
