I would love to try to hit some of the less aggressive trails with someone soon. Really wanting to test the potential of my 2wd capabilities with the current setup.

Hello from Thompsons Station! @Hattori do you still have that stockpile? Hoping to get 2.5' of lift up front and 1" on the back with some combination of Bilstein shocks and Toytec/Boss shackles. I have an inquiry into the assistant manager over at the Nashville 4wp store, but no one has gotten back to me. Any help is appreciated brother!

To echo some sentiments of past posts, it really doesn't feel like the other local shops want to mess around with new coilovers and shackles after shopping around... found a few that wanted to put spacers/blocks on  Maybe I just haven't exhausted my options? I'm ready for a damn lift either way haha

Getting a new set of Toyo AT III’s today. Is the best place to take for an alignment still 4wp? @Hattori ? Do you still work there? I’ve been inactive for a while.

@Hattori ended up pulling the trigger on some 5100s all around and toytec shackles in the back. Parts come in tomorrow. Still torn on what setting I should start with (both for front shocks and rear shackles), and I'm assuming you're anti-shim in the front, correct? ;) I plan to run these stock 275/65 Michelins for a little while and don't want to look to funky with too small of a tire. I plan to run 275/70 R18 BFG AT KO2s down the line. Any advice is much appreciated!

here is advice NONE OF US have followed and wished we had. Buy once cry once. Do not go with 5100’s, save and get something better

    6112/5160
    king 2.5
    Fox 2.5
    Icon stage 2 or above

    end of advice session.

Much appreciated, @00Tyler10 !! Not sure if it'd be the most economical route to try to get all these parts returned at this point, though now I'm concerned the most economical route is not installing them at all... :(

I seriously considered those 6112s. What in particular happened to your 5100s over time? My stock springs and all components only have 6k miles on them, so I was hoping not to run into too much drama that a high mileage vehicle would with install.

i never ran them but now many who have on different trucks (Rams and Tundras). They are better than stock but rough. The 6112s/5160s are a massive improvement for not too much more and improve the ride plus capabilities. My mistake was buying spacers then 6112/5160 and not going straight to Kings. @tbrown multiple mistakes was going 6112/5160 to king 3.0s and not going straight to LT. Same with @EAK and Eric back when he was here. Dude list goes on. Same scenario for wheel/tire combo. Even if its just a road queen the 6112/5160 combo is worth it. If you are going to off road save for kings or Icons. The mod bug is a self deteriorating disease.

I've got stock fogs you can have. Let me know if you want me to mail them to you.

If someone has an aftermarket amp they want to make me a deal on, we can get @00Tyler10 my stock amp.

Well I got the Toyo A/T III installed ditched the BFG KO2s. Man they were expensive at $425 a tire out the door. The K02s only lasted me 37,000 miles with rotations every 5k. Last month I got 3 flats in 3 weeks with them almost down to the wear bar. Really disappointed in the tread life. The toyos came with a 50K mile warranty! So far so good. I guess the A/T III are brand new they had to ship them from CA.

Anyone have any experience running 275/70 R18 vs 285/65 ?? Want to run the K02's as well, but wish they had a 285/70 R18 option.

There's a cheaper way to get new tires...

Sweet ride though. Looking forward to watching the transformation.
