So I get home from our weekend Costco trip and walk by a lamp in the family room. My youngest son taped a picture of a big a$$ spider on the inside of the shade. So I turn the lamp on and see it. I freak out for a sec and get something to kill it with, only to find it wasn't real. He's upstairs laughing still. Payback is going to be a bitch.

    Whats he afraid of?

Hide something in his closet or drawer for him to open and find. Sock or underwear drawer works best

I have a nice scary zombie mask from halloween. I'm gonna wait a week or so and post up outside his bedroom window late one night. Still working out the details. Probably a stupid post, but it might give someone an idea to prank someone in your house.

It's a pain in the ass to clean up but if he has a ceiling fan in his bedroom put a hefty line of baby powder.on top of each fan blade, when he turns it on, poof, his whole room including himself turn into white ghosts LOL

    Oh damn....where do I begin?

Saran Wrap is the ultimate get even weapon. Doorways and toilets for the win.

Water the seat foam in his favorite place to sit. Works well in vehicles if going on date....tacks work well for the ultimate effect.

Lotion under door handles or steering wheels. Tooth paste works well....so I’ve heard.

Axle lube on windshield wipers. Make sure you turn them on so once he starts the vehicle it lubes up the windshield. Don’t want that happening while driving. Safety first.

If he does drive...I’m going to hell for this one. Get a set of large, long zip ties. On second thought, this is your son. Never mind.

Fill his room full of balloons, and I mean full. Better yet, his closet. Make sure some are filled a little bit with water....couple ounces works. You know he’s going to pop this balloons, and with a bit of water in them it just makes a small mess.
You can also set up a flying “whatever” that swings towards your son once he opens his closet door. This only works on walk in closets. Pretty much any Halloween costume or lawn ornament, string, removable wall fasteners, and a thin piece of wood like a yard stick to prop the dummy up so when he opens the door, wood drops, dummy flies.

Air horns can be used for many funny air blasts. Careful. This may open Pandora’s Box.

Changing computer keyboard keys is always a fun time, especially during finals.

Whip cream/shaving cream while sleeping is always funny. Air horn is next level good times with a hand full of shaving cream.

Bang Snaps have so many uses. Toilet seats are amazing. Might scare the shit out of him...literally.

If your son uses bar soap...so many options. Clear nail polish will seal that up for good. Nothing like having to get out of the shower not being clean. Get creative with this.

That should hold you over for a week or two.

I used to work at a state university and had a punk kid as an intern - good kid but was a know it all who needed taught a lesson. After the last football game concessions throws away HUGE garbage bags full of popcorn. He left to go on a trip and parked his car at school. We had his roommate get us his spare set of keys. Opened the sunroof and dumped the popcorn through the sunroof and FILLED the car. I mean filled it!!!! He got home, opened his car door and the look on his face was priceless as the popcorn rushed out of the door. We helped him vacuum it out.

Had another buddy in high school who had a bad break up with his girlfriend. She was an ornery one. She got a can of sardines and opened the lid and pulled a piece of trim in his truck and put it behind there and closed it back up. His truck smelled for months......he couldn’t find the source until he literally pulled the entire interior thinking an animal had gotten in there and died.

Had a prank war that lasted nearly a year with some roommates when I was fresh out of high school.

We saran wrapped a dudes entire car, bubble wrapped everything in another guy's room, hot sauce on the toilet seat, replaced body wash with mayo, the list goes on.

Depends how computer savvy the kid is. My uncle tried that on my teenage cousin. My cousin told him he was full of shit. Uncle kept going with it. Finally my cousin went "Dad, I use a VPN, Tor browser, and DuckDuckGo for searches. I haven't used Google since 5th grade".

I damned near died laughing. :D

If he has his own car or truck and works on it himself and has any hand cleaner in the garage, remove all the cleaner and put dog crap in the bottom. The refill the hand cleaner with just enough to cover the dog mess. Oh! This might be for techs in a shop too!:D
