Installed mine today. Very easy but you need to drill 1 hole for the cable. Plug and play with the 12v harness for the center console.

Note to anyone installing them. I thought mine was bad. It wasn’t working with my key on ignition. Had to start the truck for it to turn on.

I used double side tape on the bottom of the mount to keep it in place. Also put some under the charger itself so it doesn’t lift. Very nice piece. Thanks @james@tech12volts

I installed my charged today, and love it. I didn’t drill any holes as the wire tucked away nicely behind the charger mount. It took less then 10 minutes to install.

Interesting... haven’t installed mine yet but Just trying it out, phone doesn’t stay without metal attachments. Might reconsider.

yes that hole is not required at all. But please be aware the charger will not work until you actually start the vehicles for the first time . not just turn the ignition on. It has to be running

I am confused on how this would connect without drilling a hole. Can you share a picture?

Probably not at that price. I have to buy 100 of them to get them at that price and it's even then I make 5 bucks

No worries. So is there no chance of us buying one anytime soon then, even at a higher price?

I was too honestly. This is what i did. It sits a little off level but I dont have any phone slipping or rattling problems. My plan is to dremmel out a little notch in the plastic above the shifter where i have the wire coming out and again on the charger plastic where it meets the cord. Ive also thought about making a hole in the front of the 3rd cupholder thats not noticable, but Im good for now. Just went 4x4 so its a little dusty ;)20190508_135729.jpg 20190508_135840.jpg
