Just went to make an appointment with my artist to start my leg sleeve and they said he left the shop and tried to pawn me to another artist. My back tat was a butcher job by a ‘recommended artist’, passed. I looked for two years before I found my guy. Sleuthed for hours trying to find his contact info to no avail. God fucking damn it.

 

Nooooo!!!!! They don't have his number?

 

Asked, they said he isnt tattooing because of covid so it looks like im not getting any tattoos.

 

Dang... that sucks

 

Well our guy showed for the weekend. Setup in the living room and slinging ink. We'll see what happens....

 

Is that SaniDerm covering it? If so, why is it cut to outline the tat? Have you used it before?
I’ve used it but didn’t trim it like you did.

Got another couple full day sessions in. Added an Anglerfish to my inner bicep on my deep sleeve fishing theme sleeve last week. And then sat through 9.5 hours of torture on my sternum/under boob the day before last. I usually have a high pain tolerance but DAMN! That sternum is no joke!

 

Does the light for the anglerfish glow?

Finished after 10 straight hours of tattooing. This sleeve will still need a bit more shading and fill-in areas to complete it 100% but otherwise it’s pretty much finished.

I have another session next week and we’ll move on to another body part

 

I just can't get enough. Mind sharing where you have the work done at? Maybe I'll make it up there someday.

can't wait to go get drawn on again. finish up at least one sleeve.

 

I’ve had 7 sessions with him so far. 4 sessions on left arm, 2 sessions on right arm, and my sternum/under boob area. At $1600 a day session so....math and stuff.....ummm....over 12k with tips. Ewww yuck. That was disturbing to realize. Thanks for that, meanie. Lol

I have 1 to 2 sessions booked each month for the rest of the year.

Yeah, his day rate is for 8 hours typically. Which includes him finishing up the design, Creating the stencil, applying it, and tattooing. So usually about 6 hours of actual tattoo time. But I have a fairly high pain tolerance so I can go longer and we try to get done as much as we can in one session. Which is usually around 10 hours of tattoo time. And he doesn’t charge me any additional. Which is nice. Considering I just realized how much I’ve forked over to him in the last 8 months.

 

there were days on my back where i could long and then others where i had to throw in the towel. 47 total hours. i stopped adding things up when it got 5k.
