    All,

I'm looking to see if I can use some of my existing equipment without buying new equipment. I have a two channel amp that I want to use on the front two channels.

Can I tap the signal before the factory amp and splice into the speaker outputs for the front without it affecting the amp leading to the rear?

This is for a non jbl system.

Why don't you just run the front speakers off of channel 1 and the rears off channel 2 and eliminate the factory amp all together. You can get a wiring harness from Tech12volts or ********* so you don't have to hack up the factory harness.

My front components are two ohm and that wouuld present a 1 ohm load. I would also no longer have any channel separation unless I am misunderstanding something.
