Getting them installed Monday, with a little middle clip 5100 raise up front. I'll try to keep this updated on wear and if I puncture. I do go on gravel roads, fields and sleds roads...will c

I'm switching over to 17"s and noticed that you can get Wild Peaks in P285/70/17. I've been using load range E's lately and was quite frankly overkill for my use. I'm going to go with lighter LT tires and just might consider a quality P tire as long as the sidewalls are reinforced.

I like the more tire then rim(wheel) look.
I need some leafs so the 17" wheels are out of my budget this year. Plus deciding what type wheel is going to take me forever, so many styles/ decisions.

I’ve been seriously considering this route as well, only problem is 285/70/17 isn’t really much bigger than the stock size.

I prefer 295's. I've got all winter to decide, besides there are always new sizes coming out.

    That's what I went with. I didn't get the P though.

271780km...I'll let you know how they last. Won't be fair for fuel economy as I raised the front 1.5"s,plus tires closer to 2"s. There plenty quite.

    None YET
Hey thanks for replying. Was in a rush looking for tires, had to make an emergency road trip the next day so ended up getting the 275/60/17's in the p-rated version (from discount). Left tire store on Friday morning, picked up the family and drove 550 miles from SC to Pittsburgh. Happy with the tires so far, but only thing I can compare is the severely worn Coopers that were on there when I bought it. Will post pic later...

Well it sounds like you are happy with what you have so I am glad to hear that.
Sorry to hear about your emergency but I hope everything is well.
I know that being rushed while searching for tires can be stressful. All I can say is that I hope your Discount store took good care of you and made the process as easy as possible.
