I was going the PRO route but went 4X4 SR5 CM and will upgrade slowly to my likes!

    2017 TRD PRO CM $49,000
    my 2017 SR5 4x4 CM $37,400

If I want I can mod to PRO specs or with the extra $12,000 or less for mod a better setup!

Love my PRO! A joy to drive. Even my wife likes driving it and that's saying a lot.

If I were in the market for another Tundra I would get another PRO. It fits our needs and then some.

I would be willing to travel to get the best price as it appears some PRO's can be had for less depending on dealerships.

Thanks for the advice...I should be ready to pull the trigger in the next 30 days, and plan on calling around until I find someone that actually wants to work with me. I've been in the auto industry for 15+ years, make good money, yet every time I go to buy a car the dealership wants to make it difficult.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
What I would do if/when I decide to upgrade to a newer model is figure out what I really want in the truck and what I really want to upgrade and compare the costs. I probably would end up with a long spreadsheet....that's just me.
I want leather seats. So I would consider limited, platinum and pro...maybe sport I'd leather is the option there.
I want black interior. Don't like the light grey or tan. I believe that removes the limited from the options.
I want an aftermarket suspension 3/1... you would think that removes the pro but after seeing what the pro suspension sells for it would almost cover the cost of the new better suspension. Something like Toytec Boss 2.5 or Kings is what I would get.
Color matched front and rear bumpers. Here I would settle for black... plastidip, powder coating or bed liner. Would also consider replacements from roman or just pulling the trigger on aftermarket and selling the stock ones.

There is more wants/desires for the next truck but yea ultimately you need to decide the features you want and how the money works out for your benifit.

Is that MSRP vs. MSRP or actual purchase price. I figured the Pro diff to be about $6k not 12.

In this order: buy the Pro, DONT look at this site for at least 3 months, and know that everyone is looking at your truck to see if it's an SR5 or Platinum. We are all happy with our trucks the day we drive them off the lot and then TUNDRAS.COM and its gremlins start eating your bank account. Either way you won't go wrong but it seems like the first 2k$ leans toward the PROvisions. Oh yeah, and that's just the stance!

The MSRP on mine was $43,000 with the options I had!

I heard PRO's can be found below MSRP if you look!
