I bought my Tundra one year ago today.

21k miles later (ugh….was hoping for 15-18k, damn those little hockey players I cart around), I’m still loving it.

Absolutely no issues so far*, with the exception of some brake squealing that my dealer fixed under warranty.

It’s normal for a Ford F150. Never had a check engine light pop on on my second GEN tundra I’m slowly inching my way going to look at a platinum on Monday one of the last 2025 left on the dealership

I will never understand replacing a 3 year old truck that you "absolutely love" with something else. Do you just like taking depreciation hits?

The OP asked for opinions. I'm sorry you don't like mine, but I'm entitled to it.

I replaced a 5 year old truck that I absolutely loved, because of the Ford recalls & never ending unfixed issues. My F250 was the most beautiful & comfortable truck ever, I hated to get rid of it but the Ford Quality & reliability issues were too much, especially for one that only had 30k on it. I traded even for my 24 Tundra. Now I don't have to carry a scanner with me everywhere I go.

Interesting. I don't think I could "absolutely love" a truck with endless recalls and unfixed issues.

If you want to save money on gas, buy a Hybrid Tundra. Better yet, trade the 22 F150 Lariat for a Prius.

I sort of know where you're coming from with the Ford love regardless of problems. My F150 was great save for being at the dealer again and again. One day I was going to the mall, got busy on the phone and ended up at the Ford dealer as a matter of habit. No kidding. It was then I realized I was in an abusive relationship and had them buy the truck back.

Unless you’re getting like 10k off, just wait for the 2026.
