Tailgate crease, Is this normal?

    I’ve attached photos. I noticed this weird crease on the tailgate of my truck, not sure if I caused it or if it’s normal. The weird thing is I have a very similar crease on my Subarus trunk lid.

    I believe that is seam sealer in the crack where the two pieces join, used on all vehicles. totally normal
