Can you share where you search this information? I've tried looking around but haven't found a link to something like this yet. Just overall think it would be useful to know when I'm trying to figure out what connector is where when doing some mods.

No, but thanks! Will see if I can find one available and the plug for the back of that and get it wired up. Hopefully it works

Bringing this back from the dead again, as this is how long it took for Toyota to come to a resolution............. May 16th to Aug 20th when they called and left me a VM that Toyota approved the harness replacement. It's scheduled for mid September. No clue how extensive that replacement will be.

Wait until the 2025 Tundra's come out and get the wire harness and button for passenger side.

I was looking at adding this feature as well. The factory harness part # 82177-0C030, switch # 84945-0C010 and bezel # 81568-0C160. The wire harness does not seem to be a big deal. It's a small harness that powers the bed lights and tail lights but I don't think it would be overly complicated to make it all factory parts

I should add I assume that’s the factory part # wire harness.. it’s an educated guess based on the TIS pic posted earlier and find a truck with this feature and seeing the part # for that harness vs my harness

Well I can confirm the 3 parts numbers I listed above are what is needed for this to work. I installed in my truck today. Looks perfect like it came from the factory with it, wire harness clips in all the same places. Note this is for truck without bed lights or the electric fuel door.

Was anyone successful in adding a switch to the passenger tail light when there's already one on the drivers side?

I think it is doable…when I added the switch to my driver side I checked it on passenger side first. The trim piece the switch goes through would need to be drilled/cut and opened up for the switch, they are not able to switch the trim from one side to the other (they are not symmetrical). Then you would have to do the wire harness to splice into the existing DS bump switch. All seems doable but at $150ish decided not to pursue it.

I added the switch and used the trim piece from drivers side on the passenger side, there is some engineering that you have to do, Trimming the trim piece, adding spacer on the bottom screw and double sided tape. I tried to cut the passenger side trim piece, but it looked like shit, so waiting for aftermarket or a OEM one that is specific to the passenger side.
First picture is mine, the rest are from a guy who did it and shared it on Facebook.
I am now waiting on Garrick Vanderbilt to make a harness that will connect both buttons to the module.

I would like to add this switch, but I can't find any information on the harness listed above. I just want to double check that the factory part number listed in the prior post - harness part # 82177-0C030 is a plug and play like what is used in the video in this thread. Just want to confirm before I order everything from the dealer.

    Thanks for your help.

    Does it look like this:

It’s there…listed as 82177A in the pic. The pic however is generic, this harness # DOES NOT go along the bed rail like shown

Thanks, I have to stop by the dealer today to pick up door seals (the front and rear seals that don't come standard on the SR5 and below), so I'm going to talk to them about the harness. Every time I place an order they tell the parts won't fit my vehicle based on the VIN because it is a 2025 - most of there listings are from 2022-2024, but they are the same. I had this issue with the black lugs and TRD center caps. The lugs are for 2021 and below and the caps are for the Tacoma, because of this site I knew everything would work just fine.
