So I was at a 12u little league baseball game and guess what...… a foul ball hit my tail light. I wanted to upgrade to LED anyway so now I have a reason. Makes spending the money a little easier.

My question is, does anyone know anything about this brand of lights. Found this on Amazon.

    VIPMOTOZ
VIPMOTOZ Neon Tube LED Tail Light Lamp Assembly For 2007-2013 Toyota Tundra, Black Housing, Driver & Passenger Side

It is $180 for the pair.

I'm assuming these were the ones you were looking at (w/o the Cree bulbs)?
    https://www.amazon.com/Reverse-VIPMOTOZ-Assembly-2007-2013-Toyota/dp/B07441QSW1/

Pretty good price on those. At that price I'd be worried about them letting in moisture though. Most of their other lights have pretty good reviews, albeit only a small handful. Some of the other styles look like Spyder and Winjet knockoffs to be honest, but I like these - simple and clean. I guess you can always send them back if you don't like them since it's Amazon.

FYI, I found this on the BBB:
    https://www.bbb.org/losangelessilic...omplaints?section=reviews&reviewtype=negative

And this on a Jeep forum:

    Thanks for the links.

It states on the website that it is a spyder brand. a little confusing.

So I took a chance and reached out to Winjet to ask about the issues they're having with their lights and they actually replied in a timely manner. Here is the correspondence. Lots of 'Engrish' going on so I'm guessing the offices and warehouse out in Cali are just the US distribution center and all of it is made somewhere in Chiwan.

    Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for the inquiry. It's unfortunate to inform you that there is another company who as trade mark their name and someone replicated our products and distributing them. We have been working extensively to figure out how resolve this issue of ours. We have received complaints of sellers selling our product but they are part of our distributing list. The only leads us to believe they someone is supply products like ours to them. Various issue from these purchase are brought to us but we are unable to assist them as they are not from our company. The issue various from the issue you mentioned from severe moisture/condensation build up, LEDs not working, and arriving damage. Any purchases made from a Winjet distributor will not have this issues and we do our best to create outstanding products. If you are interested n the lights, can you let us know which of the colors schemes below you would like and we can direct you to a supplier of ours that you can purchase from.

    Subject: Tundra taillights?

Hello, I'm interested in the following taillights, but I've been reading
a lot of bad reviews on Amazon, issues on retailer sites, and bad
experiences on various forums with them. Is someone other than you
making them now and what is going on w/all the problems people are
having (moisture getting in, lights going out, lights DOA, replacement
    lights not working properly, etc)?

    Thanks,
    // Jas

Just remember reviews are overly skewed to the negative. Most folks that are happy wont ever write a review. There are lots of reasons for aftermarket parts to fail, many of those reasons have to do with poor installation or abuse.

True, but they apparently have an actual issue with fakes they're dealing with.
