Hey guys - Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Cory and I live in Colorado. Just bought my first Tundra this past Saturday! I have it in the shop as we speak getting some mods done. Hopefully it will be back in my possession with in a week or so. The waiting game is killing me. Merry Christmas to me...for the next 5 years!

I'll post an updated picture when I get her back next week. Here she is stock off the lot.

Welcome! I, too, went from a Tacoma (2003 4x4 TRD - best, most reliable vehicle I ever owned) to a Tundra. Got my 2015 Tundra in August, then promptly took it, the family and the dog on a week long road trip to Colorado. I temember passing by Castle Rock, too.

    Thanks everyone-

csuviper - getting a 3/1 level put on, went with 305/55/20 Toyo A/T, FUEL Octane rims, Line-X for the bed and n-fab's to start!

Very nice start. You should start a build thread to keep track of all your mods.

Thanks! I had a 2011 Tacoma- really no issues with it. Just needed a bigger 4 door. There was no way anyone could sit behind me. Castle Rock is a cool little town. 30 min from Denver, 30 min to Colorado Springs. Can't complain too much!

Same here. Not enough room in the back for my son's car seat. So after 205K trouble-free miles, had to sell it for something else with a bed and more room for the family. Hope the Tundra serves me as well.

Yep did the same thing. 07 Tacoma built up that i loved. Had a kid and it worked ok with the car seat but limited driving with passengers. When we were considering a second kid i knew we would have to upgrade. So Crewmax was the only choice.

No kids yet but that was one of the biggest kickers for us. Just no room in the Tacoma. Had a nice set up going on it too...6" lift 35's etc. Did a ton of homework before I decided on this new rig. I wanted it to fit in the garage so went with the 305/55/20's and the 3/1. Was close to pulling the trigger on a used 2015 CM with 4" and 35's but it was just a little too close for comfort. Plus it's my daily driver so just wanted to get it off the ground a little bit. We have a 1994 Wrangler YJ with tons of mods to it to go up in the hills with. This new Tundra is going to babied for quite sometime.

Nice. My 07 was a 6" with 35s as well. Loved it.

Ok...I finally get to pick the new truck up on Monday night. Line-X spray is holding up the process (short staff with the Holidays). Short of me driving this thing for 5 miles when I test drove it, I havene't had it. I know it sounds crazy, but scared to plasti dip the badges on my brand new truck with 20 miles on it. Please tell me there is nothing to worry about...or debadge all together?? (3/1 lift, 305/55/20, Fuel Ocatne rims). Debadge or plasti dip? Thoughts?

    Thanks fellas!

Plasti dip won't hurt it. I used black spray paint. I taped off where the badges are, removed badges, painted, re-applied double sided tape and placed back on

Debadge looks better in my opinion except for those that are going for a black accessory theme. This would be for white, red, light blue or inferno colors.

Plastidip will not hurt your paint. It can be pealed off too if you don't like it.
