Originally posted over here, but figured I'd move this to a new thread, might help some people if they're experiencing issues with the stock head unit. The attached TSB referenced quite a few software improvements. I jumped from 1021 to 1047, then to the latest referenced below. Comparing 1021/1006 to 1162/1150; seems to be roughly the same for me minus any reference to Entune (now Apps). Menu does seem a bit more responsive. YMMV, and upgrade at your own risk.. I imagine a dealership will be able to upgrade for you, I just decided to purchase the 2-day TIS account and do it myself.

Audio Head Unit Software Update (Panasonic)

I ended up downloading them, and trigger released, now it is running Audio Version: 1162 and Navigation: 1150.
Initial impressions look about the same, maybe a little less lag in the menu compared to my original 1021... They also renamed the "Entune" stuff to "Apps" or something, I saw no mention of Entune anywhere in the settings or apps page.
No noticeable difference to audio yet, but I'll test more in the days to come.

Public link(s) to the firmware so no one needs to pay the $65 for TIS... -- and upgrade at your own risk.

Edit: zipped file containing both 0066 update files. I just placed them on a USB drive formatted with FAT32 (nothing else but the two files on the root, connected to the data USB port); started up the truck and checked for an update. Took ~5minutes to update. Restarted the truck (off/on) once prompted, and it was good to go. No messing with the battery.

Will this work for a 2015 with navigation? My audio shows it was updated in 2018. I just paired a new Google Pixel 6 and now it rebots the radio after 30 minutes. Very irritating! any guidance provided is appreciated.

Do you still have access to the TIS? Looking for the audio update for a Sienna.

    File name would be: 17TDT2NA-DA55_0066.kwi

    Thanks.

I no longer have access. Only purchased a 2-day license.

    No problem.

Was the 2 day $20 access enough to get the files needed?

I believe I paid around $65 for professional; from what I read the standard one didn't allow for file downloads... but it's possible I overpaid.
