Convince me that the additional options on the TRD sport package are worth the added cost over the SX package.

Keep in mind I would want to add black rims and '18 wheels to the sport so thats an additional 2-3k

Get an SR5 with the tow package and mod it to your hearts desire. And if you want to save any monies, delete your account here and forgot this URL

Sx is pretty bare bones. Sport package adds some goodies. Can build your truck on toyotas website and it will breakdown what each package includes then you decide if the sort package is worth it. For me I don't care for the grey cloth and don't like white, black or red so sport package it is!

TRD Sport is $4600 CAD more than the SX and the only thing it has that I would really want is the $500 rear sway bar, though I admittedly wouldn't be adverse to a moonroof.

The only reason I don't have an SX is because my wife told me I couldn't buy a red truck.

My white SX DC was exactly what I was looking for. SR5 package with a power seat and color-matched exterior (didn’t want chrome or the SR grey). Helped that the negotiated price was right.

I would get an SX dbl cab in a heartbeat. It has no sliding rear window which i prefer.Plus its all body color and fairly cheap which is good too

I've been given conflicting information on the 38 g tank being available on an SX. Ive heard both that it is and that it isn't. Would like to have that as an option

I believe it's a regional thing. As far as I know, every new Tundra in Canada now comes with the 38 gallon tank.

The 38 Gallon tank is part of the SR5 upgrade package. The TRD Sport package gets you LED headlights and foglights, push button start w/ smart entry, and dual zone climate control. Up to you to decide if that's worth it. I have the TRD Off-Road and it is equipped the same but with 18" wheels and no body color bumpers and love it.
