I plan on getting a 5 gang switch panel for my tundra instead of the oem style auxiliary switch route. Does anyone have any pictures of where they have mounted their switch panels? (Preferably 2nd gens) though I am happy to see all. Thanks

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Im using a controller and I have the longer overhead console, but it might give you ideas. Depending on your overhead, that's where I like to mount (lighting) switchpanels, but if you aren't using a controller, it can be alot of wiring to run up an A pillar (depending on your needs). You could also easily tuck one into the armrest console. Really depends on what you are going to use it for, how accessible the switches need to be and your aesthetic. You also might check if you know anyone with a 3d printer, that opens up a world of options that look acceptable.

Thanks for the picture, I may consider your method. How did you get it into that compartment while keeping the wire hidden? Also, what 3d printer possibilities are there? I can’t imagine any but I do happen to own a 3d printer

Again, depends on your consoles, switch needs and just how pretty you want it. For example, my 2nd gen has 3 glasses holders in the overhead console (lol), you could easily sacrifice one, take out the holder and print a panel to fit the opening. I ran the wire for my controller (mounted on engine bay fuse box) thru firewill, up the A piller, across the headliner into the console section, drilled a hole in the back of the eyeglass holder compartment and there ya have it. You can get pretty creative with your printer and make a switchbox that isnt so boxy like all the pre-made ones. Heck, you could literally dremel in the switch slots into one of the holders itself. I've seen all kinds of solutions.

Also, depending on how old your truck is, if you take the overhead console down to do wiring, slap some usb ports in while you're there. I put 1 port in the 3rd glasses holder and a second by the mirror for dashcams.
