My truck didn't come with fog lights so when i add them, I guess I put the switch in this area? Is there a plug behind this panel or will i have to run wires from the switch to the fuse box?

The fog switch is on the turn signal stalk on my '12. There is also no indicator on the dash when the fogs are on, so there wouldn't be a lot of benefit in trying to go the factory wiring route.

If you want a separate switch for fogs you need to run all the wiring to one of those blanks. Pop the lower dash area off to access everything. Mictuning, caliraised , and a couple others make oem style switches to fit those
Blanks. Wiring is pretty straight forward. Only one you will need to locate is the illumination wire which you just tap into one of the other near by switches.

Pop out one of your blanks for a fog switch. You will have to run wires

Confirmed I have the factory wiring sitting and waiting behind bumper on my SR trim.
For 19's, is the switch on the OEM light control stalk? Gonna have to ID and order it...

This^^^ Plus, running the wiring separately, you will be able to turn the fogs on regardless of the headlights being on bright or not.

Your stalk doesn't show the switch for fogs since you don't currently have OEM fogs.

    Appreciate the input...

I should clarify: I prefer to use the factory harness in place on my 19 and just purchase the factory switch and other assorted parts to activate. Just not sure what OEM switch is since I don't have that from factory on an SR.
I have Aux lights plans that will be a separate self-made circuit.
Since the wiring harness is there for factory fog, I believe all I need to do is get the OEM switch (be it stalk or separate button...unsure which right now), and then maybe add or activate the circuit w another fuse or...). I'd love to think all I need to do is get the factory switch, hook up fogs to the factory harness, and drive on happily.

Bowser, I am currently wanting the same on my sons 2007 Tundra SR5. The factory harnesses are right there, we installed diode Dynamics fogs, plugged them in and nothing. His truck also did not come with factory fogs so Im not sure how to turn them on by purchasing what parts?

I didn't move forward on this yet, available time a bit limited.
The challenge here is finding where the factory harness leaves off. (It may only go as far as providing the wires at the front but stop short of going into cab.) So, You can try installing a replacement OEM stalk switch but no guarantee the harness is wired all the way to steering column to pick up on that switch. This is all based in my limited knowledge of course but that's what I was going to give a try. The OEM stalk is available on Amazon or Sparks Parts.
A more guaranteed use of the money is to do what is already suggested here. Run a new independent switch and done. I suggest including a relay in the circuit.
Sorry I don't have parts to list here at the moment but they are ID'd in other threads for OEM switch. If going to add other powered accessories, may want a gang switch setup that powers a full bank with switches and just add your toys of choice.
Hope the perspective helps a little. Good luck!

Thanks for the help. I am curious about the factory harness’s, there is actually two on each side it seems. One next to fog lights, and then one a little further up the factory harness. Being as this is a 2007, I cant imagine that the higher up one was for a light bar? No clue what that would go to, appears to be same connector as fog light.

So I ordered a harness from Diode Dynamics to run a. Direct switch to panel as well. Thought about the stalk, but then I have to pull the wheel and all and Im not too confident about that operation. So we shall see how this goes. Thanks again for the help.
