My truck didn't come with fog lights so when i add them, I guess I put the switch in this area? Is there a plug behind this panel or will i have to run wires from the switch to the fuse box?

The fog switch is on the turn signal stalk on my '12. There is also no indicator on the dash when the fogs are on, so there wouldn't be a lot of benefit in trying to go the factory wiring route.

If you want a separate switch for fogs you need to run all the wiring to one of those blanks. Pop the lower dash area off to access everything. Mictuning, caliraised , and a couple others make oem style switches to fit those
Blanks. Wiring is pretty straight forward. Only one you will need to locate is the illumination wire which you just tap into one of the other near by switches.

Pop out one of your blanks for a fog switch. You will have to run wires
