from the pictures they look like solid components but I'm not seeing anyone running them. I usually see Fox, Kings, ADS, Icon..etc..

Would it help if I told you that camburg sells them in their mid travel kits? Honestly they are probably the step right in-between your run of the mill Bilstein upgrade and the big three (king, fox, icon).

I saw a guy out at glamis about a year back who was jumping them in his Tacoma!

I personally think they are pretty good stuff. For the right price personally I'd jump on them. :cookiemonster:

If you ever make it to ToyTecs' shop...You will see quite a few employees using Sway a Ways on their FJ's and Runners. Food for thought...

    Oh....ToyTec member discount most likely....

I'm being my sarcastic self again which is a good thing considering. For what it's worth I was impressed with the "look" of the Sway a Ways. Of course only the ToyTec guys can vouch how good they are. I'm pretty sure they have abused the hell out of them here in CO.

IIRC they USED to sell them, then went away. They will start manufacturing shocks in house and start selling those where SAW would have been sold otherwise....at least that's what I've been told by Carlos from Camburg.

Also, they used to have the name Stay-a-way which I believe was due to their poor finish and lack of being corrosion resistant. They had serious corrosion problem years back, hopefully finish has changed for the better.

    :notsure:

It looks like they don't list them anymore (camburg) but I definitely think I had seen something in the past! Either way, I've never personally owned them (always kings), but the stuff I've seen has been pretty awesome. I had a buddy who swore by them and was able to complete KOH on em twice! Never had to send them in to be rebuilt or anything of that nature, I'm sure someone has busted em open though.

Either way, as an OEM replacement, I'd have no hesitation jumping on em. If I was already using the big 3, I probably wouldn't bat an eye at it. Food for thought!

@Carlos@Camburg Can you shed some light on this for us? Perhaps give us some feedback to help our compadre out?

Edit: He hasn't been on since August so? Maybe not. haha But there's always hope!

    Sway Away Coilovers
i have had Sway-Away coilovers on my 2011 Tundra for 4 years and have nothing bad to say about them. However that current deal would not be enough for me to pick them over ADS, KING, FOX. I got mine for $800-900. For $100-$200 more than the current sale price you can get a remote resivoir shock from ADS,FOX,KING. That is how I'd spend my $.
