    Cant believe I was nervous about compressing the coil springs. Enough that I brought a spare set of used struts and just swapped over to 5100s ready to go in now. Just gonna sell mine when I take them out

    So easy to swap out the shocks with a decent spring compressor

    You can safely do these swaps without a spring compressor just a FYI. Ive been doing it this way for years...Very easy and safe.

    pretty cool. that's the method I am going to use to swap out, except now I don't even have to worry about getting the spring to compress

    Exactly..Ive done my 4runners this way, my tacoma, and have removed the 5100s on the tundra twice to adjust them. Super easy and quick.

    when the other guy jacks it up and he aligns the shaft as it comes through the top the spring is getting compressed
