I need some advice from the suspension guru's. About a month ago, I installed 6112 myself (assembled by boss4x4).

Today I was turning left into a parking spot and it felt like I drove over something like a rock (kinda felt like one tire slipped).
Now I noticed that my steering wheel is at the 11 o'clock when driving straight.

I took a look at the suspension and everything looks normal. I'm no guru, this was the first time working with suspension. Anything in particular I should look at? I'm thinking I'll bring it back to the shop I had the alignment done at this week and see if they will fix the steering.

If they loosened, then I would need the shop the re-do the alignment?

Yes, unless you marked then when you got home. Some people mark the cams, so after hard wheeling or etc they can pop under, take a look and adjust if they moved.

Based of your comment I assumed you checked. Regardless, you'll need to take it back for a realignment as something happened. But, obviously, you need to figure out what happened and fix it prior to the realignment.

I'm going to call the shop today. I'll see if they can give all the bolts a once-over to make sure everything is tightened down.
I used thread locker on all the bolts I removed, but not the cam bolts.

I called the shop today, they said to bring it in and they will re align it.
I'm going to try to put a wrench on the cam bolts, do you know how tight they should be?

    Like 300ftlbs lol

Not really, but they should be freaking tight

Quick search shows like 207 lb. Ft?

So get it right and give it a good couple whacks with an impact wrench? I think my torque wrench only goes to around 125

At the shop now, you were right on the money @14burrito .
I'm not sure how it happened but left ear that holds the cam bolt had been flattened and looks like it was letting the control arm move.

They are going to try to bend it back. I have no idea if it will hold. I wonder if a fab shop could weld on a little reinforcement.

When you explained your situation, I felt this was the issue. Glad it was an "easy" find.

Some people put a fat weld there, cheapest option.

@TOTAL CHAOS makes cam gusset tabs, they are a little more labor intensive.

I did just come across something interesting that I'm toying the idea of doing...

That's a good idea about slapping a bead on there. I'll see if I can get a pic before they pull it off the lift.

Dang, the tech just came by and said the ear broke off.
Gotta try to call a shop to see if I can find someone to weld it on.

I want to say it’s possible they didn’t have them tight enough. That caused your cam bolt to move and fatigue that ear. I’m not saying it’s impossible for it to move after being torqued properly. But I would be questioning if it was right from the start.

No real way to tell if it was me or them......probably was me, as when I was putting on the 6112s this side was a real pain in the ass.

I'm at a shop that my family has gone to a bunch. They are going to weld on a piece of box stock in the place of the tab

If they just put it in the same place as the little ear, it should be fine right? Not really sure how those cam bolts are adjusted for an alignment.

    Long day.....
The tab is welded on, it twisted a little bit. Now I'm back at the alignment shop to have it aligned for the third time.

Just picked it up from the shop, they said the weld looked good and held up nicely.
    She's aligned and driving great.
    Thanks @14burrito for your help!

Glad your truck is up and running good. I recommend getting a torque wrench and double checking cam bolt torque to tundra factory spec. This will ensure the truck holds the alignment.
My Tacoma has the same alignment design and I had the same cam tab folding issue. I have found over the years that every alignment shop has under torqued my cam bolts.
Best practice is to mark them and torque verify after alignment. Maybe I'm cheap, but i would rather spend $100 on mods rather than spending it on an alignment.

Those bolts are tiiiiiiiiight. Make sure you get a torque wrench that goes high enough.

Believe I read around 190-pounds on another thread; I'm going to check mine but not sure how I could get enough leverage on the wrench underneath the truck to hit that?! Seems like you almost need a lift so you can have the room to use a really long breaker bar/torque wrench - though I hope not.

They are supposed to be torqued down at ride height, as is the UCA. So an alignment rack would be a proper rack, traditional hoist not so much.

I have an electric Ryobi impact, it works great.
