Add a leaf and some shackles either from coach builder or Toytec.

We add a "leaf" to the one we already have? Or replace it with a bigger one?? And that can get 4 inches??

You can get a 2" AAL and 3+ shackles, that should give you 4"

Nope. It "adds a leaf". Will make your ride stiffer though.

3+ shackles will add 1.75" so you may have a quarter of an inch less than you want, but then again, you can get a 2.5 AAL

Looked online, those are re about $100 each so that's about $200 for those plus whatever the coach builders cost

You CAN replace the leaf pack, which is what I'm about to do. It's more costly but it's what I need.

Adding a leaf will give you some height but stiffens the ride. If that's good with you then it's definitely the more economical route

Well if I replaced instead of adding, can I acheive the height??

Very much so. The options are endless if you replace. There are custom builders out there that can do pretty much whatever you want, but it's gonna cost much more.

If I were you I would take the @Law323 advice. My needs are different than yours. My suspension is different, and my height is different. You're not doing the same stuff as me and you're not carrying what I do.

What he suggested can and will add some height.

MUCH better than a 4" block. If you were only putting in a 1"-1.5" I wouldn't worry about the AAL.

Now if you want to replace the whole leaf pack, @Almaboy is spot on when he says there are endless possibilities out there and just as many custom shops that will do what you ask them to do.

It all boils down to what you want and what you're using your truck for. If I were to haul and tow a lot, I wouldn't have put 1" blocks on mine, much less a 4 incher. Although, I am thinking of getting an 1.5" Icon leaf pack when I bump up my tires to 295/70's.

When i get Jay to let me borrow some money i'm going to go with the Alcan custom pack with a 500 lb overload. It's 9 thin leafs and i'm going to add in a 1.5 lift curve to add the extra height. From what i understand you cant overstress their leaf packs. I've really been investigating and am almost sold. It might come down to price between those and the Deavers

Just an aftermarket replacement leaf pack with a 1.5" AAL (basically)

Allan and deaver make some good leaves.

A year ago, I swear I was so lost when it came to this stuff, but spending so much time on here, researching the net and picking others brains (probably aggravating them to no end) helped a ton!
