    Hey Y'all,

I upgraded my suspension to the Bilstein 6112 and 5100 package and am trying to figure out the max hight I can set for my lift before I need to buy different UCA's. What are some of the set ups y'all are running and what are the plusses and minuses you're experiencing?

Anything above 2 you should get uca's, you wont be able to get enough caster to be in spec.

^ This. But... it depends on your truck. The UCA's will correct suspension geometry and allow the vehicle alignment to be in spec. I currently have 6112's set at the 3rd clip which should be about 1.9" and my alignment was BARELY in spec even though castor wasn't optimal. I've had a few different setups before this but all were 1-1.7" and alignments were spot on.

The 8112's are minimum 2.25" lift height which will very likely require new UCA's to get your alignment in spec.

Edit - just realized this is for a 1st Gen. In that case, I’m unsure of the accuracy of my response.
