Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
So far Magnuson is only supporting 2019s and below: https://www.magnusonsuperchargers.com/product-p/01-19-57-109-bl.htm

2018s and older are using HP Tuner, 2019 is using OV Tuner and will probably be used for 2020 and 2021.

As of now, the only option for 2020 and 2021 is the Harrop Stage 1. According to Harrop it doesn't require a tune even though they recommend one. A couple of us are getting Harrops installed within the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye out to see if this is an option for you.

Couldn't find an answer to this in a search ... so here's a general question: in the event you're on the road and need fuel, but the station doesn't have high octane gas, what's the solution? My first thought would be to carry a case of fuel additive/octane boost with me for these situations if I had to run std or mid-grade - has anybody done this and noted any issues or changes?

    That would work.

This is a little out of context, but I have a TRD supercharger on an Xrunner w/a smaller pulley(so more boost). I currently have over 100K on the engine and 80K on the supercharger. I have changed the oil in the supercharger once in that time period.

So far I have had no engine related problems.

I just hit 30k, no issues. 2017 DC 4x4 5.7 installed right after the break-in period. Only thing I've noticed is noisy injectors.

Oil every 5k, even though it calls for 10k interval.

I'll floor it whenever I want to because that's the point of having it. But my usual driving style reflects that I want it to last. Like no full throttle until it's warm, etc.

Miles are primarily highway, but the hours on the motor are start/stop/short trips. The truck sits all week, does errands on the weekend (maybe 10 miles total). Then road trips; 600-1000 mi round trip. River, Desert, up the coast, etc. and some occasional project type stuff, full size trailer to the dump, materials runs, etc.

I use non-ethanol 91 in the mountains of MT; it costs right now about $3.69/gal...but I've been getting the best MPG and power delivery this truck has ever seen so I'm okay with the cost...just bought a thing of Boostane for a trip thru rural country...just in case...

I use Pure Gas app on phone (https://www.pure-gas.org/) when going on trips and also carry a can of boostane, sometimes you can get a bad 91.

I'll try the app out...it will be helpful in areas I'm not "certain" of the fuel...I am however surprised at how many non-Eth stations I live near! Bonus!

Ever use Torco? If so, which brand do you prefer between that and Boostane? Are there any negative side effects with moderate use? I still have very slight pinging when in high gear and low rpm and applying moderate throttle to accelerate. Planning for a custom tune, but still haven't gotten around to it.

Boostane is my preference...I've used Torco one other time; I didn't have any negative effects, but I like Boostane's products more as I've used them on all my boosted vehicles...I feel I get the most "umph" with it...might be placebo but my mind is made up :burnrubber:

**If you have pinging, you're needing better fuel...or a safe tune...no issue using it but if you're FFV, I'm not certain how it effects your gaskets/O-rings/blah blah blah...I do know that if I put in non-ethanol fuel or a fuel octane booster on my bikes, quads, lawn mowers, and anything with a motor really, they all run better, go further on a tank, make less noise (engine rattles, etc) and I don't need to stabilize the fuel from gelling up and gumming up the carburetors and fuel filters...

I'm running 94 octane when I can find it, I also use BG 44K. My first Tundra had 45k on the TRD Supercharger with no issues at all using a bully dog tuner. This truck has 17k on it, so far so good. Change the oil every 3-4k miles but I only put about 5k miles a year on it.

BG44k is amazing fuel treatment/cleaner/power adder! I use it on the German cars. I think Boostane gives a little more of everything - - at least in my experience...they are priced roughly the same though...

I'll try out the Boostane and see if that helps any. It seems that QT gas has less pinging or at least that's what my ears tell me. Yes, I am flex fuel. I really need to get it in for a custom tune. That will help me know everything is as it should be.

How often are you swapping new plugs in? I'm at 21K miles on mine and just bought a set of Denso IKH22's from URD for only $7.99 each - they are 28% off right now. I was planning to replace mine before 25K.

Maybe I'm wrong, but thought it was around a 30K mile interval on plugs after the supercharger install. :monocle:

I'm at 60k miles on my SCr and haven't done anything to it but drive it...once I edge closer to the maintenance interval (in another year or so) I will have everything freshened up...should be no different than a "regular" tundra...
