Installing glass. No reason to keep the bedsides. I'd rather fiberglass break and not shred up a tire or two then have the sheet metal flex and ruin my day.

That's what I was told! Been looking into them.

Oh and for the rear tire carrier I'm stuck between a dual standup rig behind the window or a single at the back of the bed on the tail gate.

I would have to see a picture of the dual setup behind the rear window. Would you be willing to do a rear dual stand up or lay down? I would be worried about access and moving those big ass tires around when you get a flat. I am struggling with that on my TJ as well. On some trips I need a spare tire with me (not on the trailer) and having limited access or lifting a 130 lb tire up at shoulder height sucks ass.

Lifting them isn't all that difficult for me at the moment. Not so much a concern on that part. Maybe after a few more injuries it might be lol

The dual setup behind the rear window would be of them standing up. I should've mentioned that. As for the lay down setup, I would if there was still a way to at least load in one of my race bikes say with the tires removed. I'll sketch up some ideas in the next few days and do some googling and brainstorming with ya if you've got the time.

I have time. Starting Monday, 9 days off. Build time for the Jeep.

    Street bikes or MX bikes?

Funny, the other day welding up my rear bumpstops I had my 40's off the jeep. They ended up weighing in at 128.8 lbs each. That was a huge weight reduction from the original BFG 40's I purchased with the Walker Evans bead locks. They were pushing another 20 lbs per tire more.

Nice! 9 days off is alway a plus!

    R6's specifically.

Ya, these tires really aren't as heavy as I was expecting I could easily pick them up with both arms. I was anticipating a LOT heavier, i'll weigh the spare I have and find out.

I might also just get a single axle trailer to put my street bike(s) in anyway. That might get a little sporty getting the R6 in the back of your truck without getting into your lower fairing.

The new bead lock setup is very nice with the reduced weight. Still very strong.

    What do you have?
They're all fully raced prepped. I haven't checked if they clear with the truck being as tall as it is yet. I'm sure they'll roll up without the lower getting bashed up. The R6 I have with the moto gp fairings on it...that lower will definitely have to come off. The trick is a 10ft folding ramp, I just ride them straight in and use the cooler as a step unloading them.

I'm going to have to look into these. Knowing me, it'll probably be a wise investment.

I've done the trailer thing...Enclosed and the kendan fold ups. Both are awesome OUTSIDE of california. We have a stupid 55mph speed limit when towing. For that reason, I've always just stuck with tossing them in the bed. Most of the tracks are 2 hours plus away from me.

    I purchased Raceline beadlocks.

If you have a 10' ramp, shit you are good. to. go. I keep forgetting you live in CA. Shit, nobody follows that 55mph trailer towing speed. Hell I was out in S. Cal in March and was blown off the road by people with trailers.

I meant bike wise but that works too lol.

Yup, good ole cali...Apparently how it works is like this. if you're an out of stater or semi truck driver...you can do 100mph with a trailer just fine...but if you're a resident here and you do 56, you get a ticket. I got mine the very first stint out to the track when i purchased my kendan trailer lol. Not even 10 miles down the highway.

What size shocks are you running in the jeep? I have no clue what 18 inch 3.0 triple bypasses compare to. I should probably google them. lol
