I'm sorry you had a bad experience. My only guess is that they're still a small company compared to other brands. While I agree $50/day is steep, I'm assuming they just don't currently have the real estate to keep campers without shipping them out. When mine was done, it was shipped out literally the next day. They're very on top of things and my estimated ship date they gave me when I put my deposit down was off by only a day. Maybe they've refined and improved on their process since your experience.

Why are you making excuses for super pacific?

 

I'm simply stating how my experience differed from his. I've had nothing but a pleasant experience with them and think it has been some of the best customer service I've dealt with in a company within this market. He's allowed to post his experience and opinion, as am I.

There was no option to have it "shipped out." Maybe you're right they've refined their process somehow. My experience with them and subsequent refund minus deposit was last August, so a little over a year ago.

 

That's my misunderstanding then. I assumed they always had certified installers to ship it to. Just unfortunate that's how it all went down for you.

 

Do you get anything if someone uses your code?

 

They are still a relatively small company so I get a very small kickback if someone uses my code.

Even if that's true, you don't think that your experience as an ambassador isn't going to be handled more carefully than the average joe's? I'm sorry, but people and businesses do alter behaviors when they feel it matters or that there could be worse consequences. I'm not saying that their product or services are bad or that you aren't trustworthy, but @DarkMint has less of stake in sharing his experience than you do and his experience from outside their inner circle would carry a bit more weight than yours as an ambassador. You have a legitimate interest in them doing well as you benefit, however little, from that. In the same vein, Super Pacific has a legitimate interest in making your experience as amazing as possible, because then you can and will honestly go out and extoll their virtues.

All fair points. I’m in a position where I’m able to bring an incentive to those that are interested in the product, and being a small company still, I can help educate those that don’t know much about it. Maybe my opinions don’t hold a ton of weight here, but everyone I know that owns one absolutely loves it and the guy in this thread that had a negative experience has been the first negative thing I’ve heard about the company.

I couldn't agree more with @montera.built I have no association with Super Pacific and recently got one myself in December and it is even better than I expected. Everything about the construction, the thought that went into it, the features. The canopy in my opinion, is the nicest one out there.
