Sun shade

Im having trouble finding a quality sun shade for the Tundra. Anyone have one that is worth telling about?

Truck spends a lot of time parked. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the covercraft from link above. Very nice ,fits like it was custom made.

 

I've been hoping to get a sun shade as well, but the problem that I've invariably encountered is that they all off-gas and leave a film on the inside of the windscreen. And we all know how much fun it is to clean that bugger.

 

Have the covercraft and I'm pleased with it, works great and it's not cheap made.

If your truck is outside that much, I'd encourage you to get one of these. It helped me tremendously with the hot FL days. No more back sweat and burning my ass off. Saw this on another members' build thread.

covercraft = no brainer.

 

I use the heatshield in all my vehicles and sprung for the shields for the other windows in the new Tundra. Perfect fit and lasts for years. These roll up but most often I just fold it in half and lay it on the floor the back.

Is the covercraft for our Trucks 1 or 2 piece?

 

I want to get one of these, but not sure any work with a 2018 yet due to the camera that is near the rear view mirror. I'm using one from our Sienna while I wait. Let me know if anyone finds one for 2018.

 

Picked one up from AutoZone heavy-duty one side black other chrome like real thick I'm happy with KRACO.com

Edit: nevermind, you said you've used them in the past.

The Covercraft one is 1 piece. Mine doesn't cover as well as the Heatshield one I've seen pics of, but it conveniently folds flat for easy storage. Seems like the biggest complaint on the Heatshield is storing it when its not in use.

I have used a Sunshield from AUTOHEATSHIELD.COM. I've used these for a long time and with other trucks. They are custom fit for each model, fit around the rear view mirror and roll up when not in use. They also make them for side windows if needed (for those who leave their trucks outside for extended periods of time).

 

Same here, I have the weather TEC shade visor and it's a pain in the rear, have to roll it and it take lots of space.
