    Not necessarily. They have to prove the upgrade
    caused the issue. All this new stuff is plug and play and nothing is spliced. I wouldn’t worry at all. But if you do, save your stock HU and swap it back if $h!t goes downhill. I’ve never heard of anyone having electrical problems from a head unit/maestro upgrade.

    None! I tow a boat weekly
    I just upgraded to a Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX. Huge difference in sound quality. Wireless CarPlay is a big plus as well.

    looking to replace factory Radio with a pioneer avix588bhs
    Go with a kenwood, it offers better features than pioneer.
