I installed new spider tail lights on my 2016 limited. As it turns out didn't get wires right blew fuse. I then reversed plugs on them put in new fuse and works all is good until I tried to drive it and it won't come out of park. The owners manual is no help at all it doesn't have a list or anything like a list I guess you have to guess. Thanks in advance

Check the wiring again, on both. Be sure you're also replacing with the corrct fuse.

To get out of park- remove the small square cover to the left of the shifter.
Stick a pen or something else in, and you'll be able to get out of park.

To add a little to what @Sean266 said. I have read that if you have a brake lamp out (or not plugged in or some sort of open circuit in the brake light circuit) the truck can't be shifted from park and you'll need to use the method outlined above. I've only read this and keep telling myself that I need to pull a bulb to try to verify this, but I keep forgetting to do this when I'm tinkering.

Well that is good to know...
I can envision myself being in the same dilemma and going mad trying to figure out what was going on.

This just happened to me. I tried the @T-Rex266 suggestion and was able to get my truck in gear. Got home, replaced the 15a STOP fuse, and fixed the problem. Thanks guys.

I remember reading in the manual about how to insert something into the secret opening by the shifter if the truck is stuck in park...its good to know.

Check the STOP fuse under the hood. It is marked on the inside of the fuse box.

I also have a 2016 Tundra with Spider aftermarket LED taillights. I had to replace a taillight recently. Bought the replacement Spider taillight from CARiD. Truck has now blown that 15 amp STOP fuse twice causing the transmission to lock in park. I have notified CARiD and am sending a work order from my mechanic. Mechanic said the frequency of the LED lights was causing the problem. Anyone else heard this?
