Stubby antenna failure

    All was well and good with my stubby antenna until this morning, 6 months after install I found it on the ground. Snapped clean off. Luckily there was enough to grab that I could unscrew the end stuck in the truck.

    Ordered this off Amazon. Anyone have any better luck with different ones? 6 months seems pretty pathetic in terms of durability. Never taken through a car wash or anything like that. Just cracked clean on in the New England winter?antenna.jpg
