I’m putting an after market exhaust on my wife’s 2012 IS350 and the O2 sensors won’t budge... sprayed with PB blaster, no joy. Any tricks that I’m not aware of?

I’m thinking that I’m going to have to get it on the lift and use a breaker bar of some sort.

Heat. Heat the bung up with a propane torch until it glows red.

You could just drive it until it's hot and try to tighten it first once you get a turn then you should be able to take it out.

2012 and you’re trying to swap the original sensors over to the new exhaust? Sounds like the perfect time to install some new Denso sensors to me.

I have the socket set. I’m letting it marinate in some PB blaster for now. Ordered new sensors last night. When the sensors come in I’ll take it to the hobby shop on base and get it on a lift.
